when i started 9/24/10 my weigh in was 285.5lbs and 6' tall i been working out since the 24th and been going everyday doing cardio im gonna implement a weight training as soon as i figure out a routine.

I just started watching my calories yesterday and started to track them today i notice when i went to the store to get dinner and looked at the sweets i passed them up and went to the Fruit aisle and got some oranges and bananas i figure that's better than a snickers bar :)..

I also looked at the diet pop and say eh water is good enough for me so that was cool, i think im serious this time my goal is 220 but im really for shooting under 200 witch i haven't been since 8th grade "i was a beanpole up to 6th WTH :)"

Not to blame anyone but my dad had some bad eating habits that i picked up on "fast Food" my highest weight was 325 i got down to 255 and then went back up to 285.5.. I work construction so maybe that kept me going back to 325.. anyways just stuff i thought i would put in my journal..

I will do my weigh ins every Friday to track progress...

been eating 2000 cals +/- 100 for 2 days seem to be doing fine actually more food than i thought.. can wait for my first weigh in on Friday i looked at the scale last night after my workout to take a peak but deiced not to :) not sure if ill see a big drop but any would be cool.. ill keep you posted :)

well weighed myself today after my first 7 days working out and 4 days of eating right.. i lost 3.3lbs went from 285.5 to 282.2 :) im stoked hehehe :) woot

My 1 month weigh in "4 days ago" i was at 278.5 so thats 7lbs lost in 1 month im very happy about it..

I kinda fell off the eating right wagon for a few days and got busy but didn't gain anything back sat at 282 for a 10 days....

My goal is 12~13 lbs by November 24th I'm gonna hit hard, i also started my resistance training it went good but I'm a little sore today hope i feel good tomorrow so i can lift again right now im just doing a full body 3 times a week.. Cardio 6 days a week "Half to have 1 day off to watch my Packers...:)"

Tracking calories really helped me too and I'm glad I started doing it. I make more conscious decisions about what I eat. I'm glad I don't have a sweet tooth or else I'd be a lot bigger.

Gratz on your current weight loss and keep on truckin.

Yeah im in the middle of trading a sports store gift card for a pda to have a mobile calorie counter... :) thanks for the kind words its only 7lbs but i notice a few things looking smaller today after my shower.. aka man boobs

Just seen i had a pair of size 40 paints in my drawer i been wearing 44's.. well im able to get into them and button them up i haven't worn these probably for 3 years.. they are just a bit snug but im sure in a few weeks they are going to be perfect :) it was just kinda cool to put them on ehehe

Hey little side note....... how did you get your weight loss tracker thingy?

Just click on it it will bring you to there website its kinda confusing at first but if u just look over it and read whats up it pretty easy... if u look jsut above it it has there website then what u do is put it into your signature under user cp and your done... if u need more help PM me ill try to walk you threw it

That's so awesome!! I saved a pair of my fat pants when I was 235... I put them on every once in a while just to laugh and dance around in them!

But nothing beats getting into your old clothes. I was at 160 for a long time then went up to 173..... I was SO happy when I got back into my old jeans :)

Great job!!

Waht kinds of stuff are you eating?

You're doing everything completely and utterly freaking wrong. I mean how moronic could you be?

hehe

Seriously though - glad to see good things are happening with your body. And amazing how, by falling off the wagon, you don't magically blow right back up, isn't it?

People forget that when they fall off the wagon, even if it's for a few days or whatever, they still need to eat 7,000 calories above and beyond their maintenance calories to even see a 2 lb increase in fat mass.

Sadly, many people don't think like this and when they fall off, they fall off hard. It's the old, "I had a couple cookies. I ruined this day. Might as well eat the entire box."

But I'm rambling.

Keep up the good work. Oh, and feel free to call me out whenever. I prefer when people call me out on my information rather than the delivery though. I've got plenty of room to learn as well, so if you come across something you don't agree with on the informational side of things, as far as I see things, nothing bad can come from healthy debate.

LOL steve hehe i just read my own journal before posting today ahaha.. im not perfect with my diet but your right it would take allot of eating to gain that 2lbs back... i had a cinnamon role yesterday for a snack so i screwed up that hole day so i ate the hole package lol Just joking.. lol anyways as of today i am down another 5.7lbs witch i believe puts me at 265.8ish almost lots 20lbs since the start of October.. I don't get why the last 2 weeks i lost about 12lbs this happened right after i sat at 282~280 for a few weeks... I'm starting a new journey today Body for Life.. just to mix it up and i only payed 5 bucks for his book at a used book store so why not cant be any worse for me then what im doing... :auto: the things i miss the most is my beer and my mocha thats about it my family loves ground turkey so we been using that more we still have our red meat but in a nice lean steaks instead of cheap ground beef :)

Plateau of fat loss or weight loss. Big difference and can be very meaningful in women.

Hey Steve, how are you?

I haven't lost any weight on the scale, I'm not sure if I've been losingt body fat my clothes feel the same though, not getting looser or anything.

Primevci- you are losing a lot of weight a week...I'm not sure if that's bad but it must be exciting to see it come off :)

Good job!
