Lee Priest and Valentin Jabes have both been suspended, effective immediately, for violation of rule 1.7 of the IFBB rules (competing in a non-sanctioned competition).

There is a hearing set for October 17, 2006 where they can appeal the suspension in person...

That's crazy. They can't even "guest pose" at an event? That's jacked up!! I guess everyone just wants a piece of the protein pie.

JFB...Lee Priest is a "tiny" monster in the BB world. He's also a seasoned veteran of the sport that has always commanded respect from his peers. I think malkore has a pic with Lee Priest in his photos that he posted last week too.
 
That's typical in today's bodybuilding scene, especially when it comes to the IFBB. I'm not a competitive bodybuilder but I've known plenty past and present and every one of them has not spoken well of the IFBB and the weird culture it promotes. I say do it for yourself and forget dealing with that nonsense.
 
yeah, IFBB has some stupid rules (but steroids are OK).

Lee always impresses me cuz of his height, and how he looks in teh off season...it gives me hope that with my past weight issues, I too can someday have a bodybuilder's physique.

He's got the most muscle/in2.. which is definatly i big label.
 
Considering how outspoken Priest is towards how he feels about the IFBB, their rules, and members and pretty much assured that he knew where he was at was not a sanctioned IFBB event=Priest continually giving the finger to an organization that likes to whine and cry A LOT.
