Alright So Here we go Jan 1 of this year I was weighing in at 258 pounds I decided that it was time to really loose the weight this year after plenty of previous failed attemps lol. I decided that to loose the weight I have to do the only exercise that I really liked (Running/Jogging/Walking) but only with Music. So from day one I would wake up an hour ahead of time to go on the tread mill for 50min making sure I burned atleast 500 calories, after coming home from school I would do the same 50min for 500calories on the tread mill. I kept this up for about 1 month and some change (Feb 10ish) until I got fed up with it and picked up this cool workout tape by leslie sansoe walk away the pounds the 3mile I would do this 2 times a day I kept this up until Marchish (2 months) I liked it since it was quick and I was seeing results. After that I went backed to basics with the treadmill 2 times a day but this time making 1,000 calories my goal each run
I did this until the end of school I stuck with this until 2 weeks ago. And decided that for the summer I would give my self a break and do 1,000 calories on the treadmill once a day. Since I was closer to my 158 goal I could cruise.
I dont really Have and exact meal plan I just ate what I knew was healthy. And for dinner I pretty much always had a Healthy Choice meal. I made sure I never really went over 1,200 calories
The main I advice I have is that you make sure you know your BMR number (Google BMR calculator) lol This number really gave me motivation to keep going since it was an attainable thing lol. Also never pick a daily calorie limit or exercise that you no tht you wont be able to stick once you sense any reluctance towards eating rite or exercising change your goal. Also make sure that you change your routine up so it wont get boring.
When people ask me what made me loose the weight its really hard to just give an answer since every 1st of the year I try to loose weight and could only make it past a month, but somehow this time stuck.
Most of the motivation came from everyone else noticing and hearing the same "Ryan are you lossing weight ?" question everyday lol / Seeing the results/ Biggest Loser lol (best show ever) / And of course this Fourm lol
I Hope that I was able to motivate or help out someone with their journey because of this Post.
