K...well this is my first diary entry so for me to start things off I'm gonna answer some hard questions about myself that maleficant posted in the getting started thread. I know it's sooooooooo not original but this will probaby help me evaluate myself, so here goes..........
--How much weight do you want to lose?
a total of 100-110 lbs, that's crazy it's like losing a teenager!

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?
My time frame was Dec2008-Oct2009, it seems very reasonable

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
I want to lose weight through exercise and healthy eating in moderation

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
I'll be using this site and my hubby for my support

-- How realistic is your goal?
I feel it's pretty realistic

-- When will you start?
I started already

--What is your current height and weight?
65 inches, 194

--If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be?
120 or 115

--At what weight would you like to be at four months from now?
150ish?

--Why do you want to lose weight?
to be healthy, and be able to do the things I wanna do,without being out of breath. Also I can't be a fat surgeon, it's just a no,no

--Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event?
not really, I wanna be thin for all events!

--What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals?
possibly my upcoming heavier school load

--Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?
because I'm only 23 and I can't play soccer the way I used too

--What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight?
I quit eating and ordering out so that should help

--Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
yes, LA Weight loss program

--Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back?
I got off the program and just got lazy

--What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work?
not counting calories, I HAVE TO HAVE STRUCTURE OR IT JUST DOESN'T WORK

--Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time?
yes, already doing it

--Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook?
Everyday now

--How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go?
none now

--What are your three favorite foods?
French fries,tacos,and pizza

--What are your three favorite restaurants?
Macaroni grill, taco bell, zaxbys

--What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food?
weigh foods, count calories,fat grams and sodium, drink more water

--If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
Everything, because I would obviously be dead and in heaven

--Do you eat when you are not hungry?
sometimes

--Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
I have in the past

--Do you hide your food or eat in secret?
sometimes, wow that's bad

--Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
I used to

sometimes

yes

--What do you normally eat for a meal?
the norm diet stuff

--What type of snacks do you eat?
fruit pop, or an orange

--In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing?
going to the gym 4 days a week and working out at home on off days

--Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?
military base gym, home

--What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?
kickboxing! I can't get enough of it!, yogo, hiphop dance arobics

--What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals?
I do weekly weigh-ins

--Do you have rewards for certain goals?
sort of

Well holy crap that was one hell of a first diary entry! It did make me think about some of my ways though..more to come!
 
Best wishes on your WL journey! It is a good idea to get healthy while you are still so young. You are fortunate to have the support of your husband!

Holy crap! I can't sleep! I worked out today so I should be tired, but I'm not. I have so much shitzu to do in the morning I guess that's what's keeping me up, who knows. I freaking hate water weight...i know it came out of nowhere, but I do! I feel like my body holds on to all the sodium I take in, it's crazy..........ah... thats all for now

Well finally my laptop is fixed! It was acting crazy for the past couple days and it wouldn't let me do anything, so the hubby worked on it and yay! it finally works! Well I'm now three days in the challenge and everything's going well. I hope everyone else is doing good too. I am so glad I finally hit rock bottom and is finally doing something about it. Because let's face it, when it's all over and all the weight is gone and I'm all toned up at the end of the day, I wanna have that porn star body! Oh laugh all you want,but you and me both know that you want it too! lol

i_will_not_fail- We got this! Oh and I'm pre-med right now, I have about a year left of college before med school. I'm studying to be a cardiovasular surgeon, I'm a paramedic now and I freaking love it!

Wannabsexee- Hey girl, aren't supportive hubby's the best! I have so much love for mine, because he is what keeps me moving everyday. It's great to have a hubby that loves ya when you're fat and is supportive but not pushy when you wanna lose weight

Trusylver- Hey you! I'm doing good so far, I was MIA from my diary thanks to my crazy ass laptop, it decided it needed a break, but now it's up and running

If you have prbs with retaining water you can try apple cidar vinager pills.They are natural and help you pee lots:)

First of all... I really admire your motivation for exercising. 4 days a week PLUS home exercise! Nice job!
I read that you are a perfectionist. Have that ever happened to you that you failed to lose weight before? You know... it was "wanna be perfect" failed my diets. I fail into temptation with snacking.. And I totally gave up my diet everytime.. because I ate just one day too much. So silly... We can always get back on trails. You can never eat that much in a day that you get your weight back that you have lost over a lot of time.
I want to try your chicken seseme. I love chicken! I hope it's not too difficult to make it or using too much steps. I am kinda lazy sometimes... >.>"
Do you like sushi? I ate it sometimes during dieting. But then, just two seaweed rolls with salmon, tuna. Just not the rice in it. It's delicious and low-kcal! You can call it low calorie-sushi.. =P

Thats almost that your going to be a surgeon I thought about going to med school to be a psychiatrist but couple committ to the that much school so I'm doing nursing w the hope be being a nurse practitioner in the end :) Hope your first week rocked!!
 
HEy that sounds great! Nurse Pracs are awesome. I've worked with a couple and they loved it.

Well I'm back home and I am tired! I was at a baby shower all day and it went well. me and my mother in law put on on for my sister in law. It was great. And I'm pretty proud of myself I didn't eat anything bad either. I grazed over the veggie tray the whole time. I haven'nt been able to post as much as I have been wanted to at all this past week because I was so busy but this week should be better. I am going to Atlanta thursday so I won't be able to workout but it's cool. I won Britney Spears concert tickets out of a raffle so I'm off to see her this thursday, it's gonna be great. I know I'm 24 and all but I still like her. I'm gonna make sure to not eat any carbs that day because I know I'll be drinking beer at the concert. Alright well I gotta get some sleep because I am freaking tired
 
Cool abt the tickets:) And hey I went to the New Kids when they toured after getting back together LOL, it is all good!

Awesome on grazing at the veggies and such:)

Well today has pretty much sucked. I started having a bad headache last night so I took some meds and went to bed. But I woke up this morning with the same damn headache and I have been feeling like shit all day. So I'm not going to the gym today. The good thing is I'm way under my cal intake, so hopefully things will equal out. Sometimes I swear I have OCD, but it's kinda a good thing. Because ever since I started going to the gym almost everyday, I feel that I have to go to the gym or my day is just all off. But I don't even care today, because when you have a headache the last thing you wanna do is workout. Even my computer screen is starting to hurt my eyes because of this damn headache. Well shit I guess I'll go lay down. I can't wait to feel better. Talk to yall later then.......

Awesome job winning the Britney tickets not a huge fan but I still think she would put on one hell of a show!
