"pot belly"

Ok, so i have kind of a pot belly. its weird, because im very skinny, ive always had it, for aslong as i can remember. It just sticks out, its not flobby, like a "spare tire" or love handles or whatever you call it, its hard and it sticks out and i really want it gone to get more flat abs. So i would like to know what it actually is, whats causing it and ofcource, how do i make it go away? is it just fat? it sure doesnt feel or look that way, its just weird
It seems to get worse when i eat too, i dont have it as much in the morning when i havent eaten anything yet. thats why i dont think its fat.
i dont take any suppliments or anything like that, and my abs are pretty defined too, its just that pot belly :S
 
Besides the obvious answer 'eat clean till it's gone'. I also would suggest holding in your stomach (not rib cage hold in, but flex hold in). Concentrating on doing that actually helps firm the ab wall and eventually you develop a kinda sub-concious effort to keep it flex. That might sound silly, but I bet 9 outa 10 women have mastered this effort as well as many men.
 
so i just walk around keeping it flat with my inner abs? this is what im doing i think :p but sometimes i let go and BOOM its out there, and its pretty extreeme, i dont think many has it to the degree i do.
 
stomach vacuums are good, sit or stand, breathe out then pull your belly button in towards your spine and hold for 20 seconds, and repeat a few times.

Also, exercises like the 'plank' are underused by most. to read about them you probably doubt they do much but they are very effective at improving balanced, and strengthning your core and flattening the stomach.
 
yeah ive been doing stomach vacuums for some time, i was adviced to do them standing against a wall with hands overhead, i did and i felt it alot more.
maybe ill try the plank exersice, how many sets of planks should i do?
i just hope doing lots of other core stuff wont screw up my program, since i do oly lifts which is pretty intense core stuff.
