Hi Parikp02 skinnyone here.
I had to check out your diary when I saw how well you are doing on the april fools day challenge. I am 5 ft 0and at the moment I weigh 148 lbs I was 164 lbs at christmas. I just joined the gym this week so it is an inspiration to read your diary. I have no problem with diet just switched to sweeteners and low fat milk and cut out all the junk. I love the gym I just hope that I dont get bored with it. I am also planning on spending 5 days a week at the gym.
My goal is 130 lbs but maybe it should be lower than this. Maybe it should be 120 or 125 lbs but I will change it when I reach 135 lbs which I will soon.

I am a heavy smoker and I am afraid to give up the cigs in case I pig out. I plan on giving up smoking when I reach my goal weight.
Keep up all the good work I need the inspiration....

I'm sorry for this late reply ..! :)
I saw your progress too and I think you're one of the few people who've stuck to the weightloss plan! You're on the right track - First off, CONGRATS on being where you are right now - I know how much will and determination it takes to get to this point! :hurray:
-JUST reach 130 first and then aim for lesser i.e 125/120 lbs. You go girl for joining the gym! You'll feel so good and you'll also want to quit smoking so that you can do your cardio more easily!
It's become a part of my life now - I cannot imagine myself not going to the gym! :) However, its getting REAAAAAAAAAALLLY tough for me to lose now!!! I have to spice up my routine to shock my body now.

We can both inspire and encourage each other through this.. :) I'll be watching your updates regularly now.

Obviously I'm 'Plateauing' again... !
BUT I'm not freaking out like the last time..LOL - I'm trying to carry on doing the same things (as there is no way I can reduce my Cal intake OR workout more!)
I'll spice up my routine a little I guess?!

So 128 is where the scale is stuck for the time being!
 
i know the feeling... i plateaued after 10 lbs... its driving me NUTS! my big thing is i keep going in and weighing myself every day at the gym and i need to RELAX and just work out and see where i am in a few days.

how often would you say you work out ? ( how many hrs a day/ days a week)

Haha - I know and I have a scale in my bathroom :willy_nilly: SO I go mad..

ANYWAY the good news is I went down to 127 lbs (fluctuates between 127 and 127.2) YAY!:hurray:

I work out 1 hr - 1hr 30mins per day and 5 times a week. (This last week I have only worked out 2 times because I had a burn out and I couldn't go to the gym!)

BUT I need to learn what 'Light cardio' is...I have to do that on alternate days - I push myself TOO much.. ! (On my light cardio days I do heavy elliptical literally burning 650-675 Calories) I don't know how to go easy - I'm gradually learning because my body is begging me to stop now..LOL

So yea I work out in total around 10 hours a week.. i think... How about you? I have to check your diary updates now!

Hey thats a great routine. I try to go 5 times a week... sometimes i go 4 though. I really push myself too hard as well and i think that is why i get burned out so fast. That and the number on the scale not changing drives me CRAZY!!!!!


way to go on the recent weight loss!!! :)
 
WII Sports

SO all Saturday I was playing WII Fit and WII Sports!
MY freakin' body hurts like you can't even imagine my whole body is sore!!

LOL

I have belly dancing tonight and I'm playing tennis tomorrow.. REALLY excited now to do something other than my usual gym! :)

I'm at 127 right now.. and quite happy! yay!!
 
ALSO - I can increased my calorie intake to 1300.. At the moment frankly it IS really really difficult for me to get it to 1300....but I'm trying:p

I knew I was taking in too little.. but ideally,

My BMR is 1369.4
My present calorie intake is 1300 (ish)

I want to now try and lose 1 lb a week. I hope it works?

SOMEONE help me with the math pleeeeeeeeeeeease - I hope I've got my calculations right?!?!

Thought I would say hello. I enjoy reading your diary. You are at where I want to be. I never count calories so fraid I cant help with your calculations.
Thanks for popping into my diary to say hello. It was great to get some motivation. I never even thought that after giving up smoking I would be better with cardio. It is 35 hours since my last cig. I have had a really difficult week with this bronchitas but I am trying to fight it off as quick as possible to get back to the gym. I was at the gym last Sunday and half way thru I felt faint and had to stop for a few minutes. Cant wait to get back now hopefully I will have loathes of energy.

I keep thinking this is it I will never lose any more weight and then when I weigh myself I am pleasantly surprised. Even so I still cant imagine ever being at 125 mark. That doesnt seem possible.
April Fools challenge is almost over but keep up good work and I will keep tabs on your diary. By the way I started a new diary half way there.
OMG didnt realize that halls lozenges have so many calories. Not eating them anymore.

I guess calculations don't matter any more.. :)

I lost another lb - SO, so far I have lost 19 lbs since the 4th of Jan and I hope to hit the 20lb mark by 1st or 2nd April.

I bought a skirt and a dress the other day... SIZE 4

Final....

My Initial goal was to reach 120 lbs by the 1st of April - Today is it the 31st of March and in the morning I was 125.00 lb spot on.

I'm very very happy with my achievement and I hope to lose 2-3 more lbs but if not I'd like to maintain this now.

I bought size 2 jeans on Friday, the most amazing boy on earth is interested in me and I'm off to Switzerland for a 10 day Vacation to meet my best friend and friends in Europe.

Clearly, I'm not allowed to complain and like I said earlier - La Vita e Bella....
I love life and I hope everyone else feels the same!

All the best to everyone reading this for their goals and achievements!!

I'm back

Before I went for my vacation, I was 123.5 lbs...AND now I'm 127.0 lbs!!! LOLL so I knew I'd gain wait and I'm not too worried since 2 pounds that I'd lost before my vacation was because I got food poisoning.. :)

I'm back on track though...Started working out etc.. I did try and mind my calories on my vacation too as I know for SURE that I didn't want to have too much to shed off when I'm back.

Anyhow, Switzerland and Austria were AWESOME :) Had the time of my life there! Loved every second.

I have created an album on my profile which I will be updating regularly now! :)

It's great to be back on routine now...

My goal is to lose 1lb a week or so....and get to 120 lbs which was always my goal!! :)
 
You are such an encouragement to me!!!! You are right on track to where i want to be as well. you gotta a rockin bod too woman!!! Whoooo way to go!!!!
 
Reality Hits!!

Alright -

Boyfriend = dates = eating out + no gym = Weight gain!!

I'm up 130 and I'm going crazy - I know what I have to do to get back to 125 BUT there seems to be no freakin' time now! I can't stand the fact that I want to go to the gym but i cant....We do play sports though - Tennis/Softball and Soccer but it doesn't seem to be enough obviously since I gained weight.

I'm eating well though but because I used to work out so much before my body is not reacting well to this idle period.. :)

Alright no more complaining. I gained 3 lbs but I can get back on track. NO big deal. (I hope) - SO my goal weight now is 125. I'm going to go to the gym more regularly and to hell with eating out. I'm not eating out more than once-twice a week.
I will update this everyday.

DOWN - yay!

Started the Gym last week as I'd promised myself...(not going everyday but I'm pretty regular)
Initially when I needed to lose 25 pounds in Jan'09 I used to be at the gym for 2 hours! Now I do 30 mins Elliptical and weight train upper body/lower body randomly. (E.g- yesterday I did legs/back and abs)
I'm pretty happy with the short workouts right now! I'm watching what I eat as well and my boyfriend is VERY supportive since he works out and and is a complete sportsperson like me! :)

I'm down 1 pound!
