pocket calorie counting computers?

i'm looking for a pocket type calorie counter computer. need one with a database of typical foods, but also must be able to program in my own. must keep track of cals, fat, carb, protein and also break down fat into it's groups as well.

does anyone know if something like this exists and where to buy one? thanks

I carry a little notepad around to jot down how much water I'm drinking, and anything I eat that's not on my meal plan.

That might be helpful. Ideally, if you could plan out your day's meals, and their calorie content and macronutrient percentages, that'd be better. Try a notepad though. As LV says, you can simply punch it all into fitday later, for no cost. Not quite as convenient as what you're proposing, but I personally have never seen such a device...not that they're advanced technology or anything. I'm sure they exist. There are food scales that do prettywell the same thing.

If you have a PDA, there are several packages out there that mimic fitday that you can run right from your PDA. You can keep track of diet, exercise, measurements, etc....

I have a blackberry also, and I know there are a few programs that work as calorie counters, I'll look for them today. I tried one before but it was only a trial, and cost about 30$ to buy. So the fitday PDA would be ideal.
