plumpDad - Diary

Breakfast: Coffee w/ half and half, plain bagel
Lunch: Green Beans, Corn and Brocolli
Snack: Pretzels
Dinner: Salad (bacon, cheese, onion, chicken, cilantro) small chiken sandwich on wheat.

I had a diet coke, lots of water, 8 oz of OJ

Exercise: Nothing

It is hard to beleive that I have only been doing this exercise/diet for only 10 days. It really feels longer than that. I can't wait until I am a few months into my diet. I am so ready to be more fit, that I am anxious to speed things along.

My goals for today, are to jog, do some calisthenics and be nicer to plumpMom. We have been a little snippy with each other the last couple days.

ur biggest meals should really be earlier in the day plump dad, try and fill up ur lunch with protein

Thanks for the tip. I haven't really been focusing on my diet, and I don't know what direction I should go. I figured that I would just watch what I eat, but I am realizing that I need more structure and maybe a schedule to follow.

I will switch things up this weekend and make a schedule, maybe that will help.

the food you eat and when you eat it is ESSENTIAL to losing weight.

portion control is a must too.

just read up online

It has been a wild ride since I last posted. I had some personal problems that needed addressing and fixing. The good news is I stayed true to my diet during those days, but the bad news is I didn't exercise in five days. I got some running in last night and I have a new video up.

My diet over the last few days has been mainly just keeping my portions smaller than normal, no fast food - I did sneak a few french fries from my daughter. I made some killer BBQ bone-in chicken on Saturday and the family has been eating that for days. I also have been eating tuna wraps for breakfast, this my attempt at getting some more calories consumed in the morning. The Tuna wraps are fast and easy to make as long as the tuna is ready to go. PlumpMom made some great Turkey Meatballs.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Tomorrow is my weigh in wish me luck. I feel good about it, but will need to get some exercise in tonight to feel better. I am a little sore from yesterdays run, which feels kinda good.

What a random post.

I am finding it hard to post in my diary consistently. I am committed and I haven't fell off the wagon, although I did get dragged by the wagon on Sunday. It was the start of football (GO CHARGERS), and I just had to snack. I didn't go over board though.

I have still been exercising most days, and I feel good about that. I set a little goal for myself to run around the field without stopping. The field is .5 miles long, and I am currently making it about halfway around. I go farther every-time I run it.

Yesterday, I rode my bike to work and back 4 miles, run/walk 1 mile and did another mile on my bike. This has been my typical exercise with some calisthenics thrown in. I am pushing myself more and more, until I can get a real workout in. I feel what I have been doing up till now hasn't been that strenuous, and I look forward to picking up the pace.

I still can't get away from that damn pizza, we had it again on Sunday, and I was the one who got it. Shame on me. Other than that I have been good. I am eating more in the morning, and less at night, but I am still not on any kind of mainstream diet. I am just telling myself to be smart.

Hope everyone is doing good.
