Please Help

I have been on the weight loss forum as I would really like to get slimmer. I was advised that at my height and weight I don’t really need to lose any weight.

I am 5"5 and weigh around 139 lbs.

I am going on holiday in 6 weeks and would really like a toned body. I feel like my legs are not in proportion at all.

I am trying to do sit ups every night, I go dancing for 3hrs on a Monday (belly dancing and ballroom/Latin) and I do horse riding once a week. I do have a gym membership but I have not been for a while I will start this up again to.

I have a slight problem with the gym, I have been a member for 2 years and I do work hard when I am there. I did not really seem to tone up or lose that much weight and since I have not been there I haven’t put any weight on.

Does anybody know what I am doing wrong or am I supposed to look like this for ever?

Your weight for your height is fine, but you could probably still lose 10-15 lbs if you wanted. That being said, what are you doing at the gym?

Full body strength training 2-3x a week would probably help you out. Are you wanting to gain muscle or lose fat?

Edit - forgot to add - you really only should do situps 2-3x a week, just like any other muscle.
