Please Help Me!

hey everyone! and 16 and IM NEWWWW. i joined just now actually haha i have a huge problem. my butt. its out of control. and dont give me that "but guys like a big butt." last time i checked, i wasnt a guy, and i don't like big butts, especially on me. now that thats out there, to the point. its almost bathing suit season and ive been doing to some modeling and i need to make my butt smaller. it JIGGLES when i walk. and theres a little cellulite (ew, i know) is there ANY way to make it smaller AND NOT JIGGLE. thats mostly what im worried about, the jiggling. please help. sorry its long! <3

Okay, we know you are 16, but can you tell us your height and weight?

The only way to lose fat is through cardio and diet. You can't spot reduce your butt, although you could do some toning exercises (but it sounds to me like you just really want to lose the fat).

If you look through the forums there are some really good post regarding diet. Be sure to drink lots of water also.

About the cardio, do you have access to a gym? If so, then hop on a machine. If not, go for a jog or grab a jumprope. You sound healthy, just try to add extra activity to your day and get your heartrate up.
 
After I had my two children, I had the "jiggly butt " too and used to get so called compliments from guys on the way it jiggled....but I hated it!

Okay , so I was actually just on a diet and was wanting to lose a few pounds back then, I wasn't obsessed about it just wanted the butt to shrink a bit, so back then , the way I got it into shape started with running. I started to really enjoy running and the way it made me feel great after I started to progress at being able to run longer and faster ! I also added some leg and butt toning exercises and the cellulite is gone !

I drank alot of water and just got way more active. Started to progress in things I really enjoyed , like aerobics and running, leg and butt toning (weight training)

Squats are excellent for your butt and thighs. It takes time , you just have to make a routine and stick to it and don't try to overachieve things and expect drastic results within an unrealistic period of time.

Maybe this is me talking to myself here! LOL , but really, if you just commit to your overall health, be more active and do weight training on the legs, thighs , butt area, you should see results happening within weeks! Then you'll just really start to enjoy the weight training ! :)
 
In addition to what everyone else said, add some lunges to your workouts too and maybe some sprints and running on stairs. That's what I get the most results from.
 
Have you ever tried one legged squats on a Smith machine? Much easier, because you can lean against the bar. This along with some stair master should do the trick. Try it at 2 or 3 times a week, and you'll see the results.

P.S. To do one legged squats, start out with just the bar, and cross one leg over the other at the ankle. The rest is just like a regular squat: don't let your knee go beyond your toes, and keep the weight on the back of your foot. Good luck!
 
Try Russian Kettlebell training. This type of training involves those areas heavily. Not only are you strength training with kettlebells, you are also getting your cardio in as well. I recommended this to a few people on this site and they are hooked. The best training I have ever done or seen in my 18 years in this industry. There is lots of instruction involved so make sure you learn from an RKC (certified instructor).

Perfect butt - yes it is possible

Hi, it is absolutely normal to consider your self as not perfect on age of 16, I had the same problem like you - I always thought I was fat and so on. Pls, provide a picture of your butt and lets us to judge weather you have big or perfet butt.

I have one exercise that I do all the day and at any place, it is not a magic, or secret, it is very simple butt tighten exercise, you can see how I make this here

You can make this exercise also when you are sit - watching tv or reading.

You also have to follow diet plan, because no matter how many exercises you do, you will not loose weight.

Food is energy - if you eat more, this means more energy to burn. Because you are at very young age, I recommend to do weight exercises only with trainer.
