hi, try varying your training shock your body with interval training, as stingo said send your training program in and your current diet plan and take it from there. try classes in your gym they are highly motivating and great for boosting confidense. 40 mins on x trainer is a little too long. vary your cardio as well. also log your progress every day there is loads of clients of mine who dont log progress. therefore do repeated training exercise. good luck lee...

HELLO
well i go to the gym everyday, and i do Elliptical for 40 min, and i do about an other half an hour of weight lifting, jut a light one.
about eating i eat 3 times a day, and i eat more fruit and red meat or chicking, also i eat a little bit for vegitable, and i try not to eat dinner at all.
so i need help in the bottom part of my body, cuz i think iam not losing weight in there at all.:(

First, the plastic pants won't do anything but make you sweat, losing water weight (not fat).

Second, never skip dinner. In fact, don't skip a meal. When you skip dinner then go to bed, your body is going, what, 12 hours without food? Then in the morning - since it has no idea when to expect food again - whatever you eat, it stores. Eat regularly and consistently, 5 or 6 times a day (your daily caloric requirement divided into those meals) evenly spaced out. It will keep your metabolism up and your body won't go into starvation mode trying to save every morsel you give it.

I simplified it a bit, but in the end skipping dinner doesn't help...it hurts.

Definitely do NOT skip meals, eat several small meals spaced throughout the day.

Also, nothing you can do will help to burn fat in any particular area. It's just the way it is. You may end up losing weight all over your body before you start to see much difference in the areas you dislike the most. It sucks, but it can't be changed.

Don't focus so much on just cardio. People tend to think that cardio is the best way to lose weight, and it isn't. It takes some of both. Chances are good that when you say light weightlifting, that you are either a.) lifting some tiny rubber dumbells or b.) "doing the machines" - or both, probably only until you feel a very slight burn. Am I anywhere near correct?

List what your routine consists of. Chances are good, that if you increase that part of your workout, you will see more results.

well as you said, i do lift some weight also i use almost all kind of machines in the gym, each day i try something, one day for arms, one day for legs and so on.....
i would like someone in here to give me a plan of a diet for like a week or two so i can follow cuz i really dont know what to eat healthy.
here is my information if someone can provide me with a plan
5'5 and 182 pounds, 29 years old.

The thing about telling somewhat exactly what to eat is that it rarely works *unless it's a full blown program with a nutritionist*

There are just way too many variables, and you have to learn for yourself how to make the right decisions. What we can offer you is guidelines with which to learn.

*drink lots of water
*never skip meals/eat within 1 hour of waking and every 3-4 hours
*each "meal" - eat a protein/carb combo (like chicken and veggies)
*eat lean proteins, fruits, veggies, low fat dairy, and whole wheat/brown starches (whole wheat bread/pasta, brown rice, sweet potatoes)
*don't drink sodas (even diet) or other candy coated waters and drinks
*eat as many whole foods as possible (not frozen, processed, packaged food)
*most commercial products that try to sound healthy aren't (like Nutrigrain)
*read LV's grocery list and other stickies for ideas of what to eat

Thank you guys all for the advices, so i will try to use them in my daily routine.
thanks again and hope i can see some chances in my waist area where i really want to lose some weight on.
