Hello all..Starting back in June of 2009 I was 223 pounds, and starting going to the gym for 2 a days, 7 days a week, and stuck to a strict diet.

I ended up getting down to 188, and then school started, and I could not get to the gym in the afternoons. So now I am back up to 202 pounds, and will not give up until I hit 155-160.

I do mostly cardio, 20 minutes on treadmill, 15 on eliptical, 10 on bike, then some strength training. I do this every morning from 545am-7pm (then I sit in the steamroom at the YMCA :) ) I started today this routine back up again and am expecting good results. But I have to learn not to punish myself for eating one unhealthy meal.

Heres some before pics of 202 pounds. I will update pics as I see progress, and looking to be my goal wieight by June of 2010!

Thanks for looking guys!

Good Luck to you, I'm just coming out of a huge plateau myself and I feel more determined than ever to reach my final goal! You can do it!

I was working at it so hard, and then school started, and now I have to throw it all together. Work-out from 545-7am everyday, work from 8-430, then school from 5-9. repeat!

Congratulations for deciding to return to losing the weight. I really suggest that the first business that you undertake is to start logging what you eat. What you eat will determine 70 to 80 % of your weight loss.

thanks guys! Ever since I started working out I have been looking at labels at saturated fat, sodium, and calories the most. I have completely taken fetuccini alfredo completely out of my diet, which is the best thing I cook. I have 10 days left in my countdown, until the day after my birthday when I really hit the bricks. That is when the hardcore diet and workout starts. Up until then, I am watching what I eat, and still working out.

Hey, one more thing. You absolutely will hit your goal. One of the fast ways of doing that is to make calories the only thing that is important. Although sodium, carbohydrates, protein are important for nutrition, if you spend too much thinking on all of this stuff, you start overthinking it.

It is all about calories.

We are all on your side, man.

You should post pics from before you started working out completely. pre june 09 :) But good progress so far!! I need your motivation

For energy balance you should probably be eating 2,600 to 2,800 calories per day. If you want to lose weight, you should eat less than that. It seems to me like you have got the cardio program dialed in really well. Just keep doing what you have been doing and watch the eating. I would like to see your after pictures. I added you as a contact.

thanks for the motivation. hit the gym this morning, and now eating light yougurt and frozen strawberry smoothies for breakfast. they only have 290 calories altogether and taste so good. pics to come every month or so.

tomorrow is the day that it all starts. wish me luck all. I will be back with bi weekly updates. thanks for the words of encouragement!

Lol

Shin Splints right? When you come back and start running when you haven't ran in awhile and your heavier than you were and you want to push yourself further you tend to get shin splints from overtraining! Keep at it I would recommend taking Glucosamine it will help lubricate your joints!
KEEP US UPDATED WITH PICS!:hurray:
