plateau?

hey ive been going to the gym for about a month now with a personal trainer. i only go twice a week. i usually try eating little meals about every 3 hours or so, and i use protein supplements.....but anyways when i first went to the gym i started gaining weight like crazy....i gained literallly like 5 lbs in a week or 2. it was really great lol but now ive sorta been at the same spot and i havent been having as much success as before...is it a plateau after only like a month of training?
 
give us some more details. What are your current stats? Exactly what exercises are you doing on which days and what does your diet look like. I could be wrong but it doesnt sound like you have anything very structured. Post these details so we can take a closer look
 
well it might be cuz i only go to my trainer twice a week....but umm im pretty skinny only 125.....usually have cereal for breakfast...then a sandwhich for lunch....then ill usually eat some eggs ....then for diiner i usually have chicken....then i have a protein shake/bar before i go to bed. my trainer puts me through lots of leg excercises (squats, hamstring curls, leg extensions, leg press ..etc) then works on chest area (different variations of push ups, chest fly ithink its called) and different things for triceps and shoulder areas. then we do abs at the end.....its a well rounded program maybe its cuz its only 2 days a week?
 
sounds like you probably arent eating enough. Have you bothered to calulate how many calories you are eating in a day?

And you should definately try to make it to the gym 3 times a week if you are doing a full body workout
 
I'd workout more than 2 days a week. Train hard and eat well and you'll make progress.
