Hi, I've been struggling to lose weight for as long as I can remember. I've done alot of crash dieting which only resulted in quick weight loss and then a quick weight gain. Now I am determined to lose weight and do it the healthy way so that I can keep it off!
I'm a new member. I found this forum and I think it's great everyone supporting everyone to lose weight. :party:

I started my plan today to change the way I eat I want to lose about 20 pounds. Wish me luck!:patriot:
 
About Me

Okay so I really didn't include that much information about myself. I am a 19 year old female who desperatly wants to lose weight but for some reason just can't stick to my plan to do so. In high school I was a heavy athlete but after I graduated I started to eat junk food and now my body is not where I would like it to be right now.
Sometimes I simply feel depressed because I can't understand why I simply can't build the will power to change my eating habits for the better.
I really would like a lot of support if I can get any from you guys on this forum. I'm really glad I found this site. Some days I feel so alone in my struggle and I just want to die literally.
Is there anyone who would like to be my weight loss buddy we can support one another in our efforts to achieve our goals?:grouphug:

Latley, I've been eating good all day and watching my calories and stuff and then I get home at night and ruin it! It's so frustrating. I want to make a goal to not eat after 8pm. Tomorrow for sure I'm starting my diet and I'm not turning back. No more of this back and forth nonsense with my weight and having to struggle with depression. All I simply need is some drive, willpower and motivation. I have the first two pretty much, but would love if someone could help me out with the last one..(motivation).
Is there anyone out there? Just Let me know!!!!!!!:seeya:

Latley, I've been eating good all day and watching my calories and stuff and then I get home at night and ruin it! It's so frustrating. I want to make a goal to not eat after 8pm.

How tall are you? 115lbs might be a bit low, maybe not.

I ruin it at night too, the key to me not binging is to distract myself with something that I enjoy. Like painting, or exercising, or photography, or drawing. Keep my hands and mind busy so I dont go to the pantry!

That's a good idea i'll find something to do at night...i need to read my bible more anyhow!
So how long has it been since you changed your eating habits
 
Okay so today is going really good so far, I stuck to my plan so far. I plan on eating dinner in a little while and nothing after 8pm. I'm thinking about making a bowl of spinach and carrots( I really love vegtables)...(I usually eat healthy I just eat ALOT! For instance I like granola bars instead of candy bars, but I use to eat like 4 of them! so I'm really just focusing on the amount of calories I eat and portion size, that's my biggest problem. Excercise comes easy too. Since I played sports in high school I love to work out!) But I know this day will end just the way I planned..and so It will be my first official day of my "diet". I'm excited about this I'm so ready to be at my goal weight!.......
Only problem is I guess my body is used to all the food I usually give it, and I get really hungry..anyone know of anything to combat the hunger I'm thinking of getting a diet pill they usually counter hunger pains.

One year! I reached my goal weight in february (118lbs) then put on about 9-10lbs. And have been trying to lose them since, it has become very difficult! But i am accepting my body more now so I am much happier.

I am around your height too, I am 5'6" (170cm)
