PinkyDolly's Diary

Girl I am so glad you are doing great I really have missed you and I will keep up with you I promise!

u r one bz woman! tks for comin in. hope u didnt bring any cats in. :p

Hey are you Chinese? Where do you live (what country)?

I am Chinese....I live in the sunny beautiful island-country-city lol... called Singapore! We are famous for Chili Crabs! (oops i can never stop thinking of food). And we are known as the clean and green city that fines ppl for littering and not flushing toilet! Chewing gum is banned here unless u r registered with the local pharmacies for those damn expensive ones to help smokers quit their habit.

*sings*
Singapura, oh, Singapura,
Sunny island sets in the sea.
Singapura, oh, Singapura,
Pretty flowers bloom for you and me.
Come along join the song in merry singing,
Blend our voices,
Join in the chorus.
Singapura, oh Singapura,
Pretty flowers bloom for you and me.

ha... this is one of those reallly old songs written in celebration of National Day many years ago. Most kids should know it hehehhe....

Has anyone any idea how to bring down bulging muscles in the legs? I think i got more male hormones than most women. Just doing a bit of weights and cycling makes my legs horribly big. I dun wana look like bodybuilder.

heh...I'd like to know that secret too....I mean...I played soccer and basketball for multiple years so my thighs are bigggggg

I think the thighs owe primarily to genetics. I also have big thighs. I think it will help to get the fat off of them so that it's primarily muscle. They shouldn't be quite as big then.

Hmm... no one in my family has those bulging muscles. Not even my mum when she was fat. Haiz hopefully it's only fat and not muscle. I reali dun wana look muscular in my legs when I am already so short!

yea... well something to be thankful for.

and i went down by a shoe size! Wohoooo! But I am wondering what to do with the shoe now.... it's slips off when I walk 3 or 4 steps. Hope i can find something to stuff inside so it'll be just nice. Bought it 2 weeks and costs me $29.

How you been doing Pinky girl

Yo! I'm doing good cerella.... keeping to my caloriese and eating my fruits n veg. i just made spicy curry fish and cauliflower soup! YUM YUM!
Also doing my exercises. It seems easier after a week. Though I be wondering should I do it in morning or after work.

I've given up doing the food log cos i am always eating the same thing anyway. except in diff soup base lol. all my soups tastes real good with chili padi.

Trying to find out where I can learn rock-climbing too. My arms are not as strong as during bowling days, but I can't afford to bowl much now cos no more sponsorship from school n navy lol.

What a great idea, to try rock-climbing! I'd love to do that!

I'm coming to Singapore next year, I'll have to remember to try all these yummy foods you keep mentioning!

"Fish head curry"? I think that's where I draw the line, LOL.

there's plenty of meat.... some ppl eat the eyes (cos they think it makes their eyes brighter:rolleyes: ) i only eat the meat and it's juicy and nice. Best served with rice!

drawing the line so fast??? Wait till u try the Frog's Legs stir fry with ginger and spring onion... oh and turtle soup! Oooooohz!:drooling:

My dad lived in Beijing for 3 years in the 1920's, and learned to cook there. He would go to Chinatown in Denver, where I grew up, and make these feasts for all his friends. It would take 3 days of cooking, and involved stuff like what you mention. He ate fish eyes all the time. I ate one, and that was it. Same with the fried silk worms -- yecccchhhh! Now, frog's legs -- that's a different story.

hOWDY pINKY,
Hope your enjoying your day,lol I am not
too many kids fighting and going crazy around here!!Tammy

Tom - I've never eaten fish eyes and will not. Yeeeks. Fried silkworms???! Urgh... reminds me of the bunch of Fried Scorpions kebab i saw in Beijing's Wanfujing... faints.

Tammy - enjoy.....this crazy kid is goin over yr diary now! :jump:

My dad is old fashion, and he enjoys fish eyes.

My dad has eaten a lot of crazy crap. The wierdest thing I can think of that he has eaten is fried goat brain (when he was frying it, it did smell good though  )

Don't mean to be sterotypical, but in my opinon, azns are among the craziest cultures with their food selection.

I imagine Singapore would have really good food despite its longstanding ties to England with its history of trade. I love fried prawns and satay. You have my mouth watering Pinky :)
