I just have the jacket, class ring and the residual hatred off all things HS from the merciless torture I endured....

The residual hatred is too big on me now....
 
I don't think I have anything from High School with the exception of one close friend, but he wasn't in my class. I went to my twenty year reunion a couple years ago, and I was surprised at how many people are still living in that High School mentality. I had one guy apologize to me in case he ever did anything bad to me in High School. I said to him, "Do you think this is a bad movie or something?" I guess I didn't care then and I cared even less now.

See, the difference is I cared then. I know people that never left HS in their mind either. They still think life is about how 'cool' you are and what cliques you run with. I never cared- and still do not- about any of that shit.
I do not want anyone to apologize to me- I just want people to see me know so I can tell them to kiss my ass:D- in a vey professional, non confrontational way of course.

Awesome!! I got back into my softball jersey...maybe I will post pics of that (any excuse, you know?)
 
Yours and mine both...I have an attic full of things, next thing you know I will be dragging out my prom dress...

Seriously, I am lost also.
I am pulling out old Boy Scout uniforms and suits that have not fit me in 5-10 years...
More a question as to why I hung on to all this crap..

I hung onto it because to throw it away was to admit that I would never again be that weight. Even though I wasn't trying to lose weight, I never accepted that I was going to stay like that.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew I would get it eventually.
