Ok so whatever, I still can't really figure out how to post. I'll see if this works and post some real pics of real shots later.

This first one is my sad attempt to photograph myself. I should have waited till morning, when we all look our best :) but as long as you keep in mind this is the end of the day right after my last meal. However, I won't use that "I have kids" excuse...its been 3 years since the last one, common now!

This is after my half marathon in March. I'm not sure why I posted it, just wanted you to see how tired I was!

This last one is a goofy shot of about a month ago, about 3 weeks into my program. It shows my arms more than the others though. I'm not usually the one posing for pics so I don't have many of myself. I'll try to get DH to take some more sometime where I'm actually smiling for the cam :D

kool, keep it up ;)

I loooove your pics ! :)

My favorite is the one of you @ the marathon. How did you still manage to look so pretty whilst being tired and sweaty!?

so how long was the half marathon? and were you running or biking or ?

ah Jaymie, you're way too nice.

Half marathon is 13.1 miles running. Until that day I'd never done over 7 miles and I didn't train for it. It was in my college town and we happened to be "vacationing" there that weekend seeing old friends so I thought what the heck. it was a stretch but I did really well and 11th out of 50 in my age group :) It was a great accomplishment for me more than anything. I'm going to do more this fall and spring and actually train for them

DAMN!!! You look GREAT! U don't need to use the "I have three kids" excuse! I do!!! LOL Nice job!!!

aro,
I have maintained 18-19% for many years but got lower when I started eating MORE and clean. I added a more consistent strenth training routine too. I do cardio 45-60 min 6 times a week and weights 3-4 times a week hitting all body parts once. I have gained 2 pounds weight since I started being more serious, but lost body fat. I have 3 kids ages 7,5,3

Kids...

Hi, thanks for your info, I am conflicting on body fat percentage and actual weight. I also have three kids-8,7 and 3. I dont think I have ever had that good of a body fat percentage and at this point I dont want to think about weight, just body fat percentage. I have been doing serious thinking towards my body and have come to a conclusion that I need to focus on the percentage of Fat on my body than the numbers on the scale.

Do you do most of your training in home or what? I guess I need to look more into your profile. Do you stay at home or work (hope you arent offended towards this question, just curious)? Thanks, this type of support works for me!:)

Hi Aro!
Cool about the kids! 8 and 7? whew I bet those were some tough baby years!
Your focus on the body fat % is GREAT. I am slowly learning its not about weight at all. To have that mindset from the get-go is a step ahead of the game, seriously.

I go to a nearby gym where there is great childcare (STRESS RELIEF!), but I know there are a lot of people on this thread who do stuff at home. Either way is totally doable. I am totally blessed to stay home with my kids. When I did work I was a teacher and a year round swim coach. I miss it...but then....I don't :D No offense taken to any questions ;) People here have been so supportive of me and my questions here, I hope I can be the same way for you

Looking great girl. You look great esp after three kids. Good job, keep it up!!
