I lost quite a bit off my legs and bum (thats a butt in america
) by doing just low impact leg moving excercises, really easy ones, the kind ya learn at school. I've got a step machine and I cant say that really helped very much.
I'm just kind of big allover i think so i'll have to wait till the end till i start thinking that bit looks okay!
my b/f lifts weights and his legs have gone rock hard without even meaning to work on them, whereas mine i'd say just reduced size.
i just joined the 180 club, i think they have a 190 club if you're interested! all a bit extra motivation.
