I first want to say Hi! I also want to give you my background on who I am, what I'm doing, and what I hope to do.
My name is Brandi, I'm twenty four years old. I have two major things that go against me and me wanting to lose eight. One I am a flight attendant. While that sounds all glamorous it's a career choice that has more times then not weight gain. When I started flying in 06 I was a happy 150 pounds. Soon enough I sky rocketed to 174. Sadly doing this job finding food to fit any diet is a nightmare ... finding any food for an adult picky eater is even harder!
And yes I'm an adult picky eater, while most children grow out of that little "phase" it turned into a life long struggle for me. While most adults can easily eat a salad I shake, sweat and am beyond terrified to put any of that green stuff towards my mouth. Which has in turn become a huge downfall with weight for me.
So with my choices of food nine out of ten times being fast food (crazy airports) and then ten times out of ten I am terrified of trying something new I've decided I must become creative in keeping calories down and keeping myself full. I'm first and formost trying to lose fifteen pounds by the end of March (facing reality here, I ordered new uniforms). After that I want to get down to a happy 148 pounds. My unltimate goal no matter how long it takes me will be to reach 125 pounds. A weight I have not even come close to in fifteen years at least.
This will be a struggle, I don't doubt that. I know I have a lot going against me, but I also have a lot to go with. This is not a diet for me, this will be a lifestyle change.
Over the holidays I gained six pounds and was up to 180 pounds, since right before then I was 174 pounds and now at 175 I have decided to post a picture of me around 174. *sigh* Between then and now I cut off all my hair, sorry had to take a moment to be sad. hehe
Now onto what I've eaten today:
Breakfast: Jumbo egg, one bacon strip, on one buttered and toasted wheat bread.
Lunch: Three ham slices, one wheat bread with butter, Sugar free Jello cup
Dinner: Jumbo egg, one bacon strip, on one buttered and toasted wheat bread.
Dessert: One cup of pudding.
Drinks: Water! -another goal of mine is to cut out all soda, so far so good ... I've had one 20 ounce total this year-
Take note, most of my days will look like this. Sadly my fear of food is terriflying, I'm glad I have been eating wheat bread though! That's a huge step up for me. : x
I also worked out for around thirty minutes. Might not be much but it's more then yesterday and a growing process. : )
I hope to meet many new, friendly people here on this same path. It's a hard road but I'm determined to succeed. This is my life now and I will make it work!
