So is this just going to be the "who has the best overall body" sort of thing? Like, the rest of the users on here determine the winners?
 
Man, this is getting competitive. However, think it is a good motivator to get your ass in the gym and lift hard! If you guys were in my weight class, I would hop in on this one. G'luck!

P.S. Phreak, saw more pics and you look good, keep up the good work.

What's your current weight? What's your target weight? You are WAY MORE cut than I have EVER been. I didn't reach my goal weight during my cutting phase, but I had to start bulking again because I like to shock my body...and after 4 months of cutting, there's only 1 way to do that. I still superset everything though...so I keep my heart rate up the whole time...probably moreso than when I do cardio...haha.
 
I am 188 right now. I am planning on bulking until March sometime of next year. I really don't know how much muscle I will be able to pack on. I started training as a twig so have been pretty successful over the years thanks to a few great mentors. I would love to get up around 200 without adding too much fat.
 
You seem like you are doing pretty good man. Bulking for almost a full year?!?! That's crazy man!!! I think there has got to be a good solid balance to bulking/cutting phases. It takes longer to build a bridge than to tear it down man...meaning...bulk for however long ( I like 4-6 months) and then do half as much time cutting. If you cut right, you should be able to drop PLENTY of weight in 2-3 months time. But again, shocking your body is a key factor in getting results. Thats why you change your workout routine, right?
 
Trust me, I hear ya. Remember, each of us is metabolically different. I have an extremely fast metabolism. I dare say the word, "hardgainer," b/c I hate that work. Nobody is a hardgainer, they just havent found what works for them personally. For me, I can bulk like crazy for a long amount of time and add maybe 5 lbs of muscle and very little fat. I have been training smart and hard now since my senior year of highschool and what you see is what I have acheived.
 
You seem like you got like a boxer build. You keep bulking and stuff, but your body may just be used to it, so it slows down your bulking "capability" (thats probably not a good word).
 
I am just coming off a cut, I dropped down to 7ish about 2 months ago and started bulking recently again. I know how adaptive our bodies are, believe me, I am always keeping it guessing! Love it.
 
psh....if you were in our weight class....that's the goal man. I'll be down to around your weight or less by the end of summer....although, 217lbs and 14% BF is seeming a little intimidating atm

My BF % is probably a little low...but I'm not sure. When I posted that, I was STARTING to see up upper 4 abs...and you start seeing them around 10% generally...so it was an estimate. I'm still trying to tone up after my weight loss though. Loose skin sucks

We need to put timeline restrictions on this if we are going to make this little "competition" official too. We need to post current pics, weight, etc...and track our progress.

Anyways, time for me to hit the gym...so I will pick up again tomorrow

Haha, mind you, we are coming from different places. You were a hefty guy. I was a rail. Neither sounds like a great place to be. Happy to say I think both of us made change for the better. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

LV! PAY ATTENTION: like Tony said up there, we need some time restrictions...I was thinking around september, cause that's when my summer official is OVER since I'll have class all the time (this will leave little time to cut)

anyways, you still haven't given any update pics. we're all waiting :D so yeah, i've given my idea of when this should be over, now its up to you and tony. let me know so we can get this all settled.

End of Sept. sounds good to me. Going on a few business trips before then, so for me, that would be ideal.......Tony?
 
This may be a little harder than I thought it would be from the sounds of it.

LV...looks like you are at a disadvantage because you are going to be on business trips...and I know how hard it is to keep in the gym when you are doing that. I gained 5lbs (not good) when I went to St Louis last month.

Phreak...you and I will have the advantage here since we can still hit the gym consistantly the whole time.

Whatever though, if it's cool with everyone else then the end of September is ok with me. I'm still bulking though...so I got different goals then the two of you.
