Photos

Ok, this has got to be one of the most scary things I have ever done in my life. But over the years I have learned to face my fears and the outcome is usually OK. I searched for before photos to give some comparison, but wouldn't you know, I've been hiding from cameras for 4+ years. So, I'm holding my breath, pushing the submit button and hoping everyone out there remembers that I've had 3 kids, I'm over 30, and I'm a work in progress. Be kind.

I think you are look wonderful and should have no reservations about showing your body at all. You can see muscle definition and in general just a nice overall tone. Great work!

I completely agree.

I remember when I first posted pictures here so, I sympathise with how you feel doing it for the first time.

However.....wow! You look great! And with 3 kids under your belt (so to speak) aswell, I am amazed!! Whatever it is you're doing, keep on doing it :)

you don't even look like you had three kids!! keep up the good work!

You look amazing!!

I'm 25 no kids, and I wish I looked like you. No need to be afraid to post your pics what so ever! I keep thinking about it just to get advice for certain areas I want to target, but as for you your an inspiration!:D

You definitely appear to be doing the right things. Keep up the excellent work

Thank you all for the positive feedback! It was very scary to post these pictures because thanks to a psychotic controll-freak boyfriend from oh-so-long-ago, I'm never sure if what I see in the mirror or photos is what others see. He was the first person to not only tell me what cellulite was, but point out exactly where I have it. After gaining 65lbs with each pregnancy, I've had a hard time with body image. I always lost the weight without much effort, but I didn't exercise and so the softness and lumpiness always got worse. I've worked hard to get back into the shape that wasn't good enough for psycho-boyfriend, and after 3 kids I am proud of my body, most of the time. Insecurity is a hard thing to lose though. Harder than losing weight, exercising and toning up. Long after the body fat % drops the nagging fear that someone is looking at my butt and making fun of the jiggle stays with me. I'm so lucky now to have a wonderful husband that has always told me I'm beautiful, whether I'm 185lbs and ready to pop out a kid, or 120lbs fit and firming up. He has to tell me that, it's in the vows. :)

Well, that sounded more like a post for the Body Image board. Thanks again for all the positive feedback. It is great motivation to keep on doing what I'm doing, even when I don't feel like it's doing any good.
