Okay, I'm on a journey to be able to see my feet again! I know they're still there, I can feel 'em complaining after I walk!:rolleyes:
I'm 35 years old, 5'3", and weigh 200 pounds. I want to lose 50 pounds and see my 2 longlost friends again. I'd also like it if my glasses would lose their deathgrip on my head, so I must have a fathead too! So, that may be a strange goal, but if my feet and head are happy, I know I'll be happy!
I started my diet/exercise on 9-10-06.
This morning I drank 1-pepsione and 1-water. I walked 2.7 miles through our neighbor hood and now I'm fixing to go have breakfast which is:
1-cup cornflakes
1/2 cup skimmilk
1 banana
1 vitamin.

More exercise today:
situps: 10
crunches: 10
assorted leg toning exercises
sweatin to the oldies: 10 minutes

lunch:
homemade chicken salad wraps
3 oz. boiled chicken breast (which I cooked and portioned sunday and then froze)
1 tbsp fat free mayo
10 chopped pickle slices
3 large lettuce leaves

Mix everything together except lettuce. Spoon mix into lettuce and roll.

And a large glass of ice water!

When I first saw the title of your diary, I thought you made a typo! I think it's GREAT that this is your FooT Odyssey!!

It sounds like a great day so far! Keep it up and welcome to your diary :D
 
Well, I did good yesterday. Even though it was raining, I still got out and walked around my neighborhood. I also did all my other exercises. Ate good all day, drank lots of water. The only blip on my radar was the fish sticks my family wanted for dinner last night. I wound up eating 5 of them.
But, I'm not beating myself up over it, I know if I start depriving myself of everything and feeling guilty, I'll never succeed.
Today is a new day!
 
I'm impressed by how motivated you are to walk, even in the rain! And also that you have such a good attitude toward not beating yourself up. Keep on moving and eating healthy and I'm sure you'll reach your goal soon!

Thanks, ya'll! The only problem I've had today is a HEADACHE!! I'm trying to come off caffeine and I had cut down to one pepsi one every morning. Well, today I tried to skip it- BIG mistake!! I think I'll cut to half a glass before I try to stop completely!
Did my walking and exercises, ate good. So at least I feel good on that count. :)
 
Went for my walk this morning (no rain, yay!). I had a bowl of cornflakes and skim milk. Also a glass of water. Later, I will be doing my other exercises. Hope everyone has a "losing" day!:D
 
I weighed in this morning (I'm normally going to do it on sunday, but I was curious!).....I lost 5 pounds this week!! Yay me!!! :D
 
I haven't had the chance to post lately, so time to update.

I'm still doing good on my walking and eating, but I've had an unexpected benefit with the walking. My right food has stayed swollen for I don't know how long and now, the swelling is gone! It's normal size! I'm so happy.

I also had to start wearing a belt yesterday, because I've also lost inches, and my pants kept trying to head south on me, LOL! I don't want to buy any new clothes until I absolutely HAVE to. Hope everyone is successful today!
 
Geeze, lucky you...I wish I was losing inches. I measure once a week and even though I've lost weight I havn't lost any inches...weird huh? I'm glad your foot swelling is down, did you see a doctor about that? Keep up the good work!
