Petite 4ft 11 with 3 stone to lose bmi is31 obese

Hmmm how to enjoy the vacation without 'enjoying' the vacation?

Any projects around the house that need to be done that would keep you busy and active? Daily walk/jog/biking outside or start each day with a workout session at home might provide motivation to stick to the plan the rest of the day as well.

AHey everyone. After two years taking this serious. I'm finally just out of the obese category into overweight with bmi of 28.

I've pushed myself this week with gym and eating. Still a ways to go for a normal weight one and half stone but started four stone over.

I'm sticking to pbars only at 800 cals and gym x5 days total burn 2900 weekly. Until 12 November. If haven't achieved goal weight by then I'm continue til Xmas.
I am NOT dieting at Xmas. Everyone puts on weight at Xmas it's what normal people do and I reach to think n act like a normal weight person. Hit the gym jan and cut back like evryone else

That's my plan. Keep you posted ??

Remember that your BMR is your lying in bed not doing a THING all day Calorie count. If you get up and move around at ALL you will be expending MORE than that!!

My BMR is about 1500 and I eat 1500 calories roughly a day and I lost 10 pounds in one month.

Amy BMR =1200 I need to eat 500 cals less a day to lose 1lb a week.
So cals+gym means i can lose if I try. I use tracker apps to input cals eaten and cals burned it already calculates bmr from your stats it then gives you the differential. I usually have cals left so I can eat more I just choose not to.

As I lose my bmr will go up as more muscle and less fat means I burn more. So eventually I will have more cals.

I'm not at gym this week but still eat the same. I won't lose this week bcos of it.

Not true, you need to eat 500 calories less than you are BURNING to lose 1 lb a week, and unless you are just lying in bed you are burning MORE than 1200 calories. The R in BMR stands for Rest, which means the calories your body needs to function when doing absolutely nothing but lying around.

If you are exercising like 30 minutes at a rate that makes you sweat and breathe fairly hard I bet you casn eat 1400 a day and still lose. Maybe a bit more.

AThanks all for the advice??

Did eat today. Egg n toast. Stew. Yoghurt. Apple.

Went for three hour walk in the country.

Glad I was able to eat sensibly.

A4lbs loss for October. Haven't lost for months so although I'd hoped for more a loss is a loss.

Plus avg lb a week is supposed to b healthy.

I don't really feel in the diet zone right now. It's so cold I'm wanting comfort food hence the six pound gain in a week. Not going mad in the gym bcos I've got decorating to do.

Hope for more loss but we'll hav to see. Upset my bmi has gone back to 30 and obese.

Maybe I'm not taking it serious enough bcos if I was I'd be exercising 5 hrs a day and strictly sticking to my cals. Just can't be that focussed.
