Call it a hunch but I think you have bigger fish to fry than telemarketing. It may have been a 1-900 job anyway *shrugs*

totally feelin your pain, once at an interview i said the wrong company name and they basically responded with: "you are the weakest link.... goodbye"
 
I'm not really too upset about the telemarketing gig. It would have been cushy but as you put it T2, I've got more important things to do. I believe that everything happens for a reason, we'll see what happens. *sigh* I hate that I froze up like that thought. Literally, he asked a question and my mind just went totally blank, like someone turned out the lights. It's so embarrassing. :eek:

Such a build up of my day for that - everything got put on hold. Ate way too much (though still within calorie range) and got no exercise.

Dang.

Food & Activity
Breakfast: granola bar, yogurt & 8oz of grapefruit juice
Lunch: turkey sammich, 1c. of soup & veggies
Supper: 1 bratwurst, fries (baked), sauerkraut, 1 slice of rye bread & some pickles, oh and a Starbucks bottled frappuccino
Snacks: 1/2 serving of sweet potato chips, 3/4c. special K, 1/4c. milk, loads of catabolic veggies & tea with honey

Totals:
Calories (Goal 1660 - 2010): 2,001
Carbs (Goal 187 - 327): 247
Fat (Goal 37 - 78): 85
Protein (Goal 42 - 176): 68
Fiber (Goal 25 - 23): 25

Water (Goal 80 - 104oz): 40oz
Exercise: none. :eek:

I always figure if things don't go the way I want, it wasn't meant to be. Chin up. There is soemthing out there for you, don't give up.

As 2phat4fun said, and as you also said, things do happen for a reason. I've done telemarketing before and it really wears on you. I bet there's the perfect job for you just waiting for you to find it and apply :)

Also, good job on staying within your calories! Doesn't sound like you ate "way too much" at all!
 
Ick - morning all. I'm not perking too quickly today. I stayed up until 5am this morning. Mostly hanging out with Mr. Giggles, then breakfast with mom.

Got to make up for yesterday's complete lack of productivity so I'm going to go blow some of that cash. :D:D

Hi Amy! My brother used to be a telemarketer...thats all I'm going to say...it lasted, like, I think four or five days before he got tired of people being rude to him. I think you can do the job, but you'd get bored and tired of people. personally I see you as far to much of an eclectic personality to settle for telemarketing...but if you get the job it is a paycheck in the meantime. I wish you luck.
 
Thanks Iwan - yeah that was my aim, a paycheck until I can get into a 'career' position somewhere having to do with design. Things will work themselves out - they always do. :)

Busy day, spent a little bit of cash tired on a ton of shoes but didn't buy any. It was warm enough to walk today!! Yay!! :D:D:D

I never thought of myself as one of those 'shoe people' but now that I can't go drown my sorrows in an ice cream cone, I go shoe shopping to cheer myself up. Yesterday I just did it for fun. :eek: I went to 3 stores! I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't find anything. :(

This Week: 273

-2lb. Woohoo! But this is an averaged number. I stepped on the scale at 9:30 when the alarm got me up (yes I have an alarm that goes off on my cell phone so that weigh in at the same time each week. :D) it said 274.5, ok not bad and then I went back to bed... then at 11:00 when I got up for good, I weighed again just to see. It said 271.5. So I averaged the two together and called it good.

I am happy with this number! 13lb more to go until I reach my first goal!!! :D:D:D

Hey Amy, just came to visit for a little while and see what was up with you lately. I see that we had a not so good interview. I just want you to stay encouraged and remember nothing happens by accident but by promise. You know exactly what you want to do, and you can do it, take the limits off of you and shoot for the stars girl!!! You should have bought some of those shoes though!! :)
