Thanks everyone - feeling much better tonight. I got a walk in finally around 4pm. Only did about .8 miles, not great but I was feeling off without the walk. Hope this doesn't hang on much longer! I'm starting really miss my long walks.

Not much to report today - mostly worked on the poster. Still in it's sketchbook phase but I'm really happy with it. It still needs a ton of work, not sure how I should treat the background...

I'll catch up with everyone in the morning.

You know, one good thing about slacking for a month then coming back to this forum (not a great idea, I don't reccommend it, BUT) you can see all the more clearly how much progress people have made. Just look at your ticker go girl you really are amazing!!!!
 
Hey girlie, glad you're feeling better. I was home with my daughter who was sick yesterday. I tell ya, this year has been the worst for everyone with colds and such. I've missed more days with her this year than I have cumulatively since preschool. :eek:
 
Hello Peq, thought I would stop by again, cant wait until we reach our goals!! If one of us start falling behind, even tho we are racing, lol, we still have to keep eachother motivated!! Best of luck! :)

Feeling pretty good today - still a tiny bit stuffy but otherwise the cold has receded. Woohoo!
I did 2 miles this morning.. got stopped by a train half way. My muscles cooled down, then I did the last of the mile. Wow, that sucked! I knew I should have kept walking or just back tracked but I didn't think it would take that long. Boy was I wrong. I need to do some toning before I hang up my tennis shoes for the night.

Still working on that project I mentioned. Having a bit of a time messing with shading. I got the picture scanned into the computer when it hit me - err.. highlights and low lights! Duh! I'm going to have to brush up on that, I can wing it but I want this too look good. Giggles is an artist - maybe he can give me some pointers.

I know what you're saying about getting that stride broken :( I lose all my steam and I'll do anything at any cost to keep the momentum flowing otherwise I'm duck soup.

Good for you for getting out there even when you probably weren't in the best of spirits for the task at hand. This weight loss thing is just full of 'I don't really wanna's' but you're a direct result of 'I can do its'
