Well shite-cakes!!! I just wrote a whole long entry about my day, when my browser foo-barred.
All gone. :mad::mad: Roar!!

Well I just don't feel like typing all that out again.
Here's a summary: Had a good day, lots of reading in the afternoon, religious texts & lullaby by Chuck Palahnuik (again - 3rd time and yet I don't own a copy of the darn thing!!), doing some yoga & meditation before bed since I forgot this afternoon, nervous about Giggles coming but the butterflies are baseless since dad already likes him and mom will follow suit after she sees how great he is. Phew.. I think that's it.

Lunch: homemade California Rolls, carrots with ranch dressing, hot tea & honey
Snack: Kashi Protein bar, milk
Supper: Hamburger with lettuce, onion, ketchup & a tiny blop of mayo, baked fries
Snack: Godiva dark chocolate drink with 1/2 shot chocolate liqueur, corn chips & fat free dip

Goooood morning everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Oh my goodness what a weekend! Saturday was spent getting things ready for Giggles' visit. He spend most of the afternoon/evening here, chatting with the parents & shtuff. The parents seemed to really like him. That makes me very happy. :D:D I stayed with the Gig that night and all day Sunday. We even took his dog for a walk around his town. Such a pretty town, very old.

Food wise, Saturday I blew it when mom made cookies, I had like 4 of them. :eek: But I only had half of a muffin for breakfast so I did exhibit some self control. Sunday was fine, well within range.

Today I have get my butt in gear and get xmas cards out. Then I have make more fudge, we currently have 2 kinds of fudge sitting on our counter. Plus a big spread of cookies, I still need to make oatmeal, sugar cookies, chocolate chip & ginger bread.. I think. We do this every year for our closest family members, it's almost expected. But I must be good. Must be good! must be good...

I can't wait for xmas to be over. :eek:
 
Hi Amy! Long time no se huh? It sounds like you are doing great. It' the holidays and it's ok to have a cookie now and then. Ha! I've been doing all these parties and I've had all kinds of stuff I shouldn't. BUt I am still maintaining,so hang in there!! Have a great day!!:)

Ma's cookies!! you only ate 4 thats gr8 cuz I would have
atleast ate a dozen lol I know evil.
My O my fudge and cookies everywhere I swear you have awesome
willpower cuz once I see that in my house it triggers my brain and drives
me nuttz until I munch.I am making peanutbutter pinwheels some people
call it potatoe candy but I use philadelphia cream cheese instead of
potatoes anyhoo I have to wait till xmas eve to make it or bad things
will happened and I am really trying to have a tiny self control as holidays
get closer.Glad to see your weekend with giglg;es went well that is always

This fudge & cookies has to leave the house soon. I've eaten about 3 pieces of fudge AND I had a soda (Serria Mist with a splash of cranberry). But I made sure I had mostly veg stuff for lunch... that counter acts the naughty right? ..lol.

Ack - back to sweat shop...
 
I know wat you mean with the fudge, my roomate made 4 different types of it: chocolate w/m&m's, caramel, mint chocolate and raspberry chocolate fudge. JEEZUS-i have only had 2 pieces of fudge this week and am avoiding the house hoping i wont gorge on it ltr. fudge is packed full of calories and i would like to have more than only one meal in the day.

i am so glad to hear that things are working out well with Gig & ur folks, that is SOOO important!

keep up the good work w/ the loss =-)
 
No, I don't think you can make fudge with fake sugar.. messes with the chemical make-up or something. Plus, um.... ew. ;) lol

I didn't get any of the baking done. None.. nada. But the xmas cards are finished, thats a plus.

And I noticed something today - it's nearly xmas and I'm not neck deep in a seasonal depression. Big BIG plus! I think this is the first year in a very very long time and I didn't even notice it.

Most of the day was spent nursing a headache, and unfortunately eating a lot of fudge. My guess is that the two are probably related. I had a nice fat migrane last night that made driving a little scary but I felt tons better... until the fudge hit me.

I really am ashamed of the way I handled it. I tried to make excuses but Mr. G is right, I have more self control than that. I should have wrapped it all up and shoved it away somewhere. There's no good excuse. Bleh.

I am within range but most of my calorie consumption was sugar related. I did do a 2 mile walk though, I hope I haven't done too much damage. :eek:

What else did I do today? Nothing. Christ that's terrible.
How the hell did I do this when I was sick?? Twelve years of almost the exact same day, how did I keep my sanity intact? Now that I'm not sick on a daily basis, I realize how much of my day is wasted. I could be out doing something productive.

I really gotta find me a job.
