Good afternoon everyone. I just got back from a moist yet refreshing walk.. I :heart: the rain. I get some great ideas while walking in the rain. Now the trick is to remember them before they flee from my mind. Must remember to take a pen and paper next time - won't make for a good cardio, stopping to write.. but would make for a great sketchbook. ;)

Much to do today, I want to do some yoga & meditation, need to wrap gifts, make some more cookies ( I think I'll do some sugar & some peanut butter... maybe), pick up my room before it turns into a total pit whole, read some stuff that I printed off, finish my Palahnuik book, bathe the dogs... Oh and find some food somewhere in there.


Ack why am I sitting here.. Amy - go. do. now!

Yeah, Mr. Giggles knows about the nickname. I told him I'd change it but he declined. I think he kind of likes it. ;)

You know, every time I see someone's lost some weight or lost some inches it gets me thinking; Where does it go? :p

I personally don't understand the whole inches/weight thing either.... like for myself, i am losing inches but not so much in the lbs....so where is it all going?! ............Good job lady! keep up the good work and happy holidays if i dont get back on here between now and then.

The whole inches thing is amazing and I tell ya I love it. I think, and as Mal would say I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV (LMAO..I love it when she says that...oh, I was saying) but... (hehe) I think it's your body toning up so you're not as "loose." All I know is that my pants fit a whole heap different after loosing several inches in my thighs. It was amazing to me how different I look, I've lost far more inches than I have pounds. I don't know where they go....but I like how it looks without em! :p
 
Wow such a full day.. pardon me while I curl up under the desk & sleep for a bit. I made Springerle cookies. They'er German anise cookies basically. They're all on our kitchen table right now, 'drying' so I can bake them in the morning. I was good today though - only had 3 of the springerles.. mostly to try, one fresh out of the oven, one after it had cooled some and one after they were room temp. I was kind of shocked how the flavor and texture changes so dramatically.

Then I must do the sugar cookies. Didn't get to do those today because I couldn't find the recipe. Plus the last of the chocochip.. maybe a could of snicker-doodles if I have leftover sugar cookie dough. :D

I'm going to make a Mayan Chocolate cheese cake for the family gathering on Saturday, fudgey goodness with cinnamon & a dash of cayenne.. I love cooking! :D:D

I went with my dad to Walmart this evening & we were picking out a card for my grandparents. I was dancing and singing xmas card karaoke but my dad just kept trying to slink off like he didn't know me. I think he was ashamed..lol. But how card you *not* sing with "Feliz Navidad"?? It's just not possible - oh and you have to have the fun accent too!..lol. ;)
