-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? Well... How long it takes. I would like to be well on my way in a year

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? Im lucky.. Being a big guy, I build mussle, and burn weight well. I am going to cut out most sweets, and work on portitan control!! That and working out at least 4 times a week

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? Well... Thats my problem. Thats why I am here. Most frends and famley dont realy buy into it

-- How realistic is your goal?
I did it three years ago, so I say its dooable

-- When will you start?

4What is your current height and weight? This morning I was 272, and I am 6'2" tall

If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be? For my build 200-210 would be perfect

At what weight would you like to be at four months from now? I would like to be under 250

Why do you want to lose weight? Looks, feel, health.


What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals? I love snacks and eating!! Im a emotanal eater, and with two young kids, and some other personal issues, it can be a battle

Why do you think that you now have a weight problem? dont fit pants, get winded, and sweat a lot

What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight? eating better, and working out

Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight? ya. I had something to work for. When that did not pan out, I got discuraged

Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back? Stress
What are your three favorite foods? Beef! Peantbutter cups!!! Pizza

What are your three favorite restaurants? Outback, ...cant think of more

What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food? Eat less. Only eat when hungry

If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different? I would feel better about my self.

Do you eat when you are not hungry? OH YA!!! all the time

Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)? Ya

Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed? Ya, my big problem
Do you eat as a reward? yup
Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer? yup

Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?
I have to work out at home. With two young kids, there is just not the time, or money for a gym

What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals? That is one thing I need to dig in deap and find!!
 
OK, well this mornings weight was 271. A good start. :D :D

Sofar so good eating. Oatmeal for breakfast[two packs of instant] and a can of soup and some crackers for lunch. Spent some time out clearing the drive.

Not a good day yesterday... :(

VERY stressfull weekend. Bad wether, Christmas coming, Kids acting up, baking cookes, etc etc. :(


Hope I dont have to many more.....
 
Well a little better. WAYYYY busy at work, so I was moving all day!! Did OK eating. Two ice chream sandwitches called to me before bed though. :(

Well done starting a diary, i see part of your plan was to work out 4 times per week, how is that going ?

Well it has not happand yet. :D Things have been wicked crazy with Christmas, and I have got nothing done!! I did spend some time setting up my workout room last night inbetween wrapping gifts though.

OK, so did OK yesterday. Did hit the white cholic PB cup bowl at work yesterday though!!!!![ one of my weaknesses]

OK, well I have not been on the scale for a bit. Trying to eat good, but its tough this time of year. Long hours, high stress, little sleep..... Im doing OK. Better then I expected, but not great by any means. Im sure a lot of you are with me. :D :D
 
you could try posting more information in here like what you are eating so others can make possible sugestion on how to better reach your goals.

Hang in there through these bas days and you will get there.
 
Ya, as for now Im just cutting out eating the crap.


Well I have been sick the last few weeks. Bad sinus infection that put me on my butt for weeks!!!!


Getting better, and starting back on track.

Eating two pacs of instant oatmeil in the am. turkey sandwitch at lunch, ..


That part I am good with. I tend to have problems with portition control at night, and snacking. :(

OK, that was mostly from the fact that the antibodys I am taking for a sinis infection is kicking my butt,,,,, But I will take it however I get it. :D :D

Good work so far. I think your approach is pretty good, cutting out the crap.

I think I'll try that again. Last time that's exactly how I started. I focused on cutting out the bad foods before I focused on eating the good ones.

Every bit helps.

Well the helth is getting better, so Im getting back on track!!!

Morning, and afternoon I have been prettty good. Oatmeal in the AM, and turky sandwitch and carrots for lunch[some times cheat with some peanitbutter crackers] Dinner has been tough. I tend to over eat. I have been working at cutting down the portations.

Also finly got down to work out!!!! Last two days I have worked out. 20 min on my exercize bike, fallowed by some light lifting. Feeling better allready!!!

Weekends are tough for me. I tryed... but did do someextra snacking. :( I tend to eat from boredom, and I was inside all day watching the kids. I did catch myself, and stopped eating at dinner when I was full, eaven though there was more food on my plate!!!

Also spent 30 min on the bike last night. No weight lifting. I did the last two days, and wanted a day off to rest the mussels a little. Havent weighed in yet....
 
269 this morning!! Hoping to keep under the 270's.

Still ate more then I should have, but kept my dinner portions under controll. Realy got to up my intake of F&V's though!

Worked out last night. I was tired, but I pushed myself. Glad I did. I felt good after!! 20 min on the bike, and some lifting.

My be going to Disney in May this year... Would REALY like to be in the 240's by then.
 
Well people I have not been here for a bit. ...


Good news is Im doing GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have not missed a day working out. I spend at least 20 min on the bike. Most times I spend 1/2 hour, and do some lifting. Eating better also. Two pac's instant oatmeal in the morning, and a turky sandwitch and carrots for lunch. Dinner I may not eat the best, but I at least have some veggies, and cut my portions WAYYYY back!!!

Well no workout last night. I was WIPED out. I guess one off day a week is OK. I ate real well though. I had two pacs instant oatmeal for breakfast, a half turky sandwitch [half slice cheese, no other stuff on it] and baby carrots. I did have a few PB crackers later on the day as a snack though. For dinner I had a can of soup and 6 crackers.

Did not weigh today.
 
Well no cardo on the bike last night. Did not feel well after I got the kids to bed. :( I did do some lifting during the day though!! I have been reading through the stickys on how to do the lifts correctly, and suprise, suprise, I was doing them pretty good! :D :D Added Squats to my routen. I had not done them, becouse as I gain weight, my knees hurt. Well they have felt better, so I went for it. Followed the letter of the law, on that sticky, and OMG I feel it!!!! Ended up not eaven using any weight!!!!!!!

Todays weight is 264!!!! I have dropped almost 10lbs!!!!!!!!!
