Hey! You're at my goal weight!! Now you really have to post pictures so I can day dream of where I'll be when I'm in your shoes!!

Keep at it!

Where Has The Time Gone!?

Woah I haven't been here in a year?! WOW! If anyone remembers me, hit me up! I would love to know who is still out there and how you're all doing! :bigear:
In the mean time, I'm going to go through my journal and try to catch up on some of ya too!

Hey stranger! Glad to see you again!! I'm busy right this sec but I will stop by tommorrow and chat some more...just wanted to say HI!!!

Okay.... LOL I am bouncin' all over the place lately. I hadn't been on this forum in a year and came back a couple of months ago. When I left (May 2006), I was at 148 and that was a month before my wedding. In 2007 I was coaching cheerleading and ruptured my ACL and ruptured some other things in my knee as well. That was a long healing process and I definitely put some pounds on due to that. I cam back to the forum in April 2008 weighing 164 and originally decided to start a new journal, but, after reading through this one (and getting lots of laughs) I'm thinking to myself, "Why did I start a new one?" SO I'm coming back to this one! It's a little depressing to see that I was down to 148 and am now close to 164 BUT it is great to look back and see what I was doing to lose the weight! So this is my ONLY DIARY now and I'm stickin' with it!

NOW... MJB to update you from the diary I have since deleted, my butt is SO SORE from my bike ride the other day! Ha! You'll have to try it out...

To recap, my kids bought me a bike for Mother's Day. Wednesday I bought a trailer for it so I could take my little cousin with me when I babysit. I also bought an elliptical machine that day. Rode bikes for 20 minutes and then did the Elliptical for another 20. MY BUTT was too sore to do anything yesterday so I didn't lol...

Also, another big change... my husband and I have decided NOT to try for a baby so my surgery (tummy tuck) is back on. We decided that the two children I have from a previous marriage are enough to complete our family. I love the independence that comes with their ages (12 and 7)! It just fits our lifestyle! Besides, I babysit my 7 month cousin 5 days a week and HOLY COW I forgot how much work babies are! LOL. She's a cutie and I love her, but I don't want one ha ha!

In the diary I have since deleted, I explained that because of my two pregnancies, my ab muscles are seperated down the middle and, without surgery, will never be flat. Not only are they not strong and don't support my back well, I look like I'm about 4-5 months pregnant no matter how much weight I lose. It's something that has really bothered me for about 7 years and I think, in some ways, it hinders my weight-loss progress. So I'm really excited to be scheduled to get that fixed again! :D

SO... I bought Micheal Thurmond's Six Week Body Makeover on Friday. They said it would take 2-4 days to ship out so I'm hoping to receive it this Wednesday? Once it get's here, I will be posting my weight, measurements and (maybe) pics weekly. I really want to lose ALL my extra weight BEFORE the surgery so that it can be as big of a success as possible. :D

Still waiting for my six-week body makeover (6WBM) kit in the mail. I was really hoping it would be here by now... Just kinda floating. Hubby and I decided we are going to start working out together next week in the early AM. He needs to get in shape for an upcoming fight and I just need to get in shape period lol.

I re-scheduled my stomach surgery for 13 weeks from now. I WILL have lost at least 30 pounds by then!

So anyway, not much else to say... hope my 6WBM kit gets here soon!

My kit came today! WOOHOO! So I will be doing weight, measurements and pics over the weekend and starting on Monday. I will post weekly updates. :)

Hey Paula! I'm excited to see how your kit works out. I love trying new things.

I hope your tummy tuck comes out awesome. Poor thing, that must be tough not to have your core tight, I'm sure it takes its toll on your back. Have you done any research on preparing for surgery? Like perhaps doing an internal body cleanse to help you heal faster and with less scaring. Just curious.

Hope you are having a fab weekend!!

Thanks JB! I'm officially starting tomorrow so hopefully it works great! Didn't I read somewhere that you got something new too? I swear I read that... somewhere.

I haven't looked into anything like a cleanse but I sure will, thanks!

Okay so tomorrow morning I will start my 6-Week Total Body Makeover.
Tomorrow I will post my measurements and weight as well as post current pics on my pics pages. I plan on updating those pics every two weeks. Hopefully I will be able to see a difference!

Today I prepared all my meals for the week. It honestly took me like 3 hours to cook all the meat and stuff lol. I prepared meals for my hubby too though because he has a fight scheduled in 5 weeks and needs to drop a few pounds and shape up. Anyway, between grocery shopping and cooking, I didn't workout at all and I still need to take my pics and measurements... hence the reason I "officially" start tomorrow ha ha!

Well off to do measurements and pics... and go to bed! Be back tomorrow! :)

Day Two, Week One 6 Week Body Makeover

Yesterday went well. I didn't get my second cardio in OR my weight training (I really need to push to get that done) BUT I ate well.

Yesterday's food was actually too much so I took out one meal for today.

Meal One
Protein Shake
1/2 c. Oatmeal
1/2 Apple

Meal Two
1 oz. Pork
1/2 c. brown rice
1/2 c. mixed veggies

Have to do class for a few hours and then I will get some workout in...

Meal Three
1 can tuna
16 Wheat Thins
1 tbsp Mayo

Just found out I'm going to have to go into work to cover an employee tonight... better get my food prepared and my workout in now.

Didn't have to go into work afterall. Started fixing dinner for the family but ended up getting McDonald's for the fam... I on the other hand, had an omelet (see post #597 for full story lol).

Meal Four
2 eggs
4 slices ham
mushroom slices
cheese

Did not workout at all... no cardio, no weights. :eek:/

Hey Paula!

Wow, your food looks really good so far, and it looks very healthy. Love the 5 meals, that will get your metab going for sure. Geez, it made me hungry.

Have you noticed any loss yet? I can't wait to see how this program works for you. I don't have a workout kit, but my sis just bought Jillian Michaels DVDs, I've yet to try them. Perhaps this week......

Great job preparing your food, that sure makes it easy to stick too. You're off to a rocking start. Keep it up!

Thanks MJ! I weighed a pound less this morning but who knows really LOL. I just keep telling myself that I promised to post picks in 2 weeks so I have to show SOME kind of difference by then! Plus hubby and I are going to Vegas the weekend of the 6th so ANY poundage I can have off by then would be great!

Jiliian's a MONSTER! I wish I had her barking orders at me! Have you seen that shirt she wears that says, "BULLY"? I LOVE IT! LOL :gnorsi:

So tonight I was going to make this great healthy stew from my 6WBM recipes and I started getting it all together and then it said, "Let simmer for 3-4 hours... 3-4 hours?! This was an hour before dinnertime ha ha! So I took the kids to McDonalds. Perfect excuse to just blow the diet and start again tomorrow but...
I didn't! I made myself a ham and mushroom omelet instead! :D That McDonald's would have tasted good but then I would have had to deal with feeling like sh** for failing and I AM SO OVER THIS EXTRA WEIGHT! So I am eating my omelet as I type this... patting myself on the back. :D

You go girl with your omelets! hehe Did you know that you can make a low calorie low fat ham, egg, and cheese muffin? Oh yes girl, it's so tasty, I like it better than McDs because I don't feel greasy afterwards.

Low fat English Muffin
Egg Beaters
Lean Ham
2% Cheese Slice

Great job-down 2.5 pounds! You go girl. I am down too, whew!! This week I am going to pull a big number, I just know it. I've been working too hard not too. Weigh in tomorrow morning, I just need to stay focused and avoid the salt.

Vegas in a few weeks! Oh yeah, I love it there. What are you two going to do? See shows? Gamble? How fun!!

Hey MJ thanks for stopping' in... seems you're my only forum friend these days. ;(

No I have not tried the muffin but I sure will! Trying to stay away from bread but that sounds like a great "treat". :)

Glad to see you're numbers are down too! Can't wait for your weigh in tomorrow morning! I'll be waiting anxiously by my computer to get the good news!

Vegas is actually next weekend! Hubby and I will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary. Not sure what we'll do down there... We're not gamblers (I get mad when I lose money and think about what I could have bought with it lol). I know I want to see that underwater show for sure. Not sure what it's called... saw a tv show about it the other day.

So yeah... hopefully I will be down around 150 by then! That will sure feel good!

Hey MJ thanks for always stoppin' by... you're a great forum buddy. :)
