Alright, here we go.
Couple , or maybe three years ago, I bought a weight bench, and some smaller weights with the smaller bars. One long bar for heavier weights and lifting over my head. My problem was everywhere I looked onlne, I got differing advice. Aarrgggh!
i have since got the weights and bench scattered between 2 places(my cousin wanted to try em, and anyway looong story) needless to say I have a few 20 pound weights, cant find my bars,,etc...I figured its easier to go more simply. I wondered about just maybe buying some small dumbells, that I can add weight to. I dont really feel I need to do lower body, and here's why...
I do hills. I incorporate them in my walks. Nice steep hills, and stairs. I have really great calves. I once saw a show where some dude bought plastic surgery to create 'calves' and thought poor guy, genetics just werent nice to you and you spent a ton of money for something that aint gonna happen otherwise. And see, I noticed you are probably naturally built to show muscles when you use them. Well apparently so am I. I just realize that without cutting the bodyfat, I cant SEE em yet! Except for below the knees. My thighs and hams also get 'cut' looking, as I lose weight because of the climbing I do. I just havent lost enough fat to see them ...YET.
So, I get to thinking... If I lift weight for upper body, and keep losing, surely my arms would become defined. My problem is knowing HOW MUCH to lift, and how many sets, and how many in a set. Could I begin with lifting gallons of water? (Ive always got them around) Should I wait until I get dumbells? They are cheap and I could get them next payday, Im sure.(Thursday probably)
One more thing. I have MMbS..(My mamma's butt syndrome

) Flat, wide butt. You on the other hand have NOT er, got that problem! I read that even when genetics are not nice to you, It can still be helped with climbing. Do you think with more hard work, and climbing stairs, etc, that eventually I can 'help' that certain area?
Sorry for the large number of questions, but I wanna know, dangit! Its the last thing Ive put off, and decided not to put it off any longer.
