pains after workout???

o.k. i worked out for the first time in a real long time the other day and im going back tomorrow. i stretched before and after working out, but now my chest and arms are in pain. is this normal and will go away or am i not stretching right? thank you

yeah its normal just make sure u give ur muscles time to rest cause when muscles are sore its because training puts little tiny tears in the muscle which makes u ache because ur not used to it so doing more without letting them rest makes the tears bigger and then u have a problem.!!! yes the pain will probably not happen all the time but every now and then when you do somthing different or new you feel it !!! :)
