Pain in right chest

I think it is my pectoralis minor. I have looked at anatomy charts and it seems to be coming from there. It is a wierd kind of pain, and I only feel it during wierd motions. How long should I stay of the weights and let it heal?
 
Do you feel it when you are bench pressing?
When you push up?
Are you sure it's not just soreness?
Is it a stabbing pain? Dull pain?
How frequent?
 
I also have a pain in my right chest or well more in the middle, but the doctors say its a cartilage inflamed in between my ribs... breathing starts it up, so there really isn't much I can do for what I have. Hopefully its not the same...
