this is not shin splits, which i had very bad before but eventually went away
its on the inner area of my lower legs, a few inches above my ankle (shown in picture). Im going to go out on a limb and say that it feels like the pain is from my bone instead of the muscle.
The pain seems to come a day after running where it hurts just to walk and running is nearly impossible. A few days rest brings the pain down to run again but the problem comes back. I can immediately feel the pain creep back the moment i try run or jump. I stopped running and stuck to my crosstrainer (dont feel pain using it) and even cut back on leg extensions(the pain is at about the same vertical level as where i lift with my legs, yet i still dont feel pain when doing them).
After several weeks of trying to rest the area the pain is still there. Any ideas?
