P90x

Thanks! yeah its tough to get into but I would say after the first week it gets easier, and you start looking forward to the exercises! well, you can always count on me to update this site everyday (so as long as I have access to the internet) and will be posting up pictures weekly. Aravind82, let me know wht kind of results you get when you finish!! I'm really curious because I cant wait to see my results!! :)

DAY 16:CardioX

Okay, so things have been kind of rough for me at home :( and well, when I get really stressed out I tend to eat. Although I must also say that I also get out of the house more, so yes, I've eaten a little more than normal but I've been out of the house walking/running more and I also got in my workout (I wouldn't miss it for the world). Somehow, all this sweating makes me feel better as gross as it sounds, I'd say I just sweat my problems away, it also helps relieve my stress. so I say, all the more reason for me to stick with this program. PS. did I mention I love it :)

Day 17: Shoulders & Arms, AbRipperX

This was the first shoulders & arms exercise that I did with a resistance band because it FINALLY came in :) It was hard, although easier than I expected, I personally liked it, I feel great right now so I couldn't ask for more, as for the AbRipperX I tend to do that in the evening so I will update later :coolgleamA:

Hmm.. I'm not sure if AbRipperX is getting any easier for me. I did feel my abs working hard though, and I did feel tired after, Then again its almost 30 min to 12 so that COULD potentially be my problem (lol).

Well my results after this first round won't be anything amazing I know. All areas of my strength, flexibility, etc. has improved. I've also lost a lot of weight as a result which is the main goal right now. But I'll be starting round 2 right afterwards on February 1st so I'll just keep on going. :)

Day 18: YogaX

All I can say is... great stretch, doesn't seem to get any easier (I still am exhausted after I finish, but my flexibility is DEFINITELY improved).

Day 19: Legs & Back, AbRipperX

My legs are exhausted!!! I got a mad workout!! Ab Ripper X was a little more challenging for me today because I was slightly hungover from a birthday last night, however, I don't make any excuses for myself not to be able to exercise. I'm getting ready to go party again tonight, so I need to make sure I eat right and I don't drink anything tooooo excessive in calories!! No matter what, I'm still sticking to my exercise schedule and eating everything in moderation. Much confidence :)

Nice to see someone else doing p90x. You must be doing the lean routine because the Plyo isn't in there. I personally love the Plyo. Maybe give it a shot instead of Cardio X one week. The day after the first time I did it I literally couldn't move when I woke up. It's the X of p90x.

I think Cardio X is the easiest. I have a hard time with Core Syn with all the pushup variations. I have to modify and go down to one knee but there's just that much room for improvement. The yoga is long but very challenging and I feel the rewards in my posture and the way I conduct my overall body awareness. You also feel like a million bucks afterwords. I do the yoga 2-3 times a week I like it so much.

Great work!

just starting

Hello there,

I have also just started the P90X. I am only my second day into it so I don't know how I feel about it yet. The first day was pretty brutal actually, and my whole body pretty much feels weak.

I look forward to checking up on everyones progress - since most of you are well over a month ahead of me!

As of right now I can't do the pull-ups cause I live in a basement apartment which makes it hard for me to even do some exercises requiring me to raise my hands above my head.

Tonight is Interval X and Ab Ripper - wish me luck, I'll need it... especially with the ab ripper!
