What exactly happens when someone overtrains? Besides the threat of muscle loss and increased injury what are other things? What are some of the signs you are overtraining?
 
Overtraining Symptoms

I have been overtraining so now I'm on a rest period, I have been feeling really depressed, weak, no energy and I feel really tired all the time...
It's a really bad feeling, I have read on many sites that the only way to recover is to rest, eat lots of carbohydrates...
However I have been resting for 3 weeks now and I don't feel much better...
 
Here are some indicators about AEROBIC ENDURANCE overtraining:


Decreased performance
Decreased bodyfat percentage
Decreased maximal O2 uptake
Altered blood pressure
Increased DOMS
decreased muscle glycogen
Decreased total testosterone
increased submaximal heart rate
Altered resting Heart rate
Sleep disturbance
