OTHERLY - Feeding the Right Wolf Inside

Sadly, we give up on flowers in our household far too easily, which is probably why we like our amaryllises. Suckers just won't die, and when you remember to water them they show up with big beautiful flowers.

Just back from my second floorball match this year - well this five last years :)
No interview again (from my wife), so let me make you my journalists.
First hour without scoring again, but I am getting better. This time it was just tremendous bad luck! One-timer from one meter into almost empty goal - and I hit goalkeepers stick. Then a post and a leg...
And then I decided our second match with the most improbable goal. It was 9:9 and I hit a post (again), the ball went up and down to goalkeepers hand who dropped it into his net.
The spell was broken and I was able to play normal game again.
And most importantly, I am not retired hurt! Relaxing in the bath, feeling pleasant diet hunger in my belly.
Life is beautiful! :cheers2:

First month of my NARROW ROAD TO THE INTERIOR is over. First boulder is out of my way. I am 6kg down. That is dozen bottles of full fat milk! Two packs of six - just try to lift it in supermarket for me :)

Well to be absolutely exact, it is dozen bottles of low fat milk as well...

LaMa: I was in a business trip in Southern Moravia yesterday, so I crossed the borders to Austria and did some little bio shopping in Interspar, in Mistelbach. You are right there was no Murauer!

I bought first Valentine gift to my "undocumented wife" - a ring. She said I was quite daring, as I have no sense of detail and style :) Guess which one it is:

Then we were drinking eierlikör (from Mistelbach), talking about weddings, getting a little drunk - all I remember is we were not able to figure out the marriage vow. You should be with your partner:

1) in bad and in good
2) good in bed

Whatever :) Have a nice weekend!!!

I´d go with the second from the right in the middle row :) But then I have no sense of style either :p Congratulations on 6 kg lost! That´s around a full clothes´size. Full-fat milk is slightly lighter than no-fat milk, by the way, because fat weighs less than water. I know you didn´t ask to be told that but I have teachers´ genes and I can´t help myself :blush5:

The third one from the right in the middle row :) It is the one that LaMa likes, only a size bigger :)
So with you LaMa we have similar no-sense of style then :beerchug:

Sunflower, I will get you the pearly looking pink one next time in Mistelbach :newangel:

Haha I think the ring is awesome! Good choice man! :D

I love the way you phrase it! It's these kind of gems that boost my motivation, will remember enjoying this diet hunger when it is there! So, thanks for that! ;)

I forgot that I wrote it myself :) I just wanted to agree with you and the quotation... And what a coincidence, that I am relaxing in the bath again, feeling pleasant diet hunger in my belly! Life really is magic, if you decide it is!

I was 105,8 kg in the morning. That is half kilo less than 13 years ago, when I realized I was fat for the first time. It is about 7 kilos down from the beginning of this year! Well done!

In a way I can start to lose some weight finally. I was contemplating all my 468 previous attempts in my blog. What was wrong then, what is different now. How is it possible that we know everything about diets, and we are still not able to do it?

I believe we all have different medicines that work just for us. Can you share please? I really do not want to be a yo-yo for the rest of my life!

What works for me now is to write a post on my blog EVERY SINGLE DAY! That helps me to keep the focus on my goal. That is something that I was not doing in past, so I even do not know when and why I stopped then!

What is your medicine? Have a nice week!

I have never really thought about it, but I think keeping a diary in here must help me to stay mostly on track. When I did lose my excess weight back in 2007 I just knew that was it. My mindset had just changed. I wanted to be slim much more than I wanted to eat things I shouldn't. That has stayed in my head. "Nothing tastes as good as slim feels" was my mantra & still is.

Mission completed! I hurt myself two weeks ago in floorball match, and I was so devastated, as scoring goals is my most natural physical activity.

But I decided to recover as if my body was 17 years old, and I did. Two weeks later, I was the man of the match, scoring about 8 goals and winning all four matches with my team :)

And most importantly, we all enjoyed it and survived in good health!

Bad luck yesterday. I went for a long business journey by car, so I prepared two audio books on CDs to entertain me. I forgot them on the kitchen table. I realized that being in the car already, but I was so desperate that I run up the stairs to fourth floor in few seconds. Then I found out I forgot the flat keys inside as well! I was steaming angry!

Series of little bad luck events followed until I reached the client, and signed quite a good contract with him :)

On the way back I was not able to resist 200g pack of chili cashews + peanuts (about 1.000 calories). I didn't eat it all, but I had to cancel my dinner anyway, to feel OK.

No extras today and a salad for the dinner. I must find some new sexy recipe until the evening!

Hi Otherely,

My favorite salads are rotisserie chicken, spinach, rocket, tomatoes, olives, feta and a vinaigrette if you have lots of calories to spare some boiled baby potatoes in there and make your vinaigrette with whole grain mustard. Even describing that made me hungry haha.

Keep the good wolf happy!:p

Wow, that sound amazing. Thank you. I wonder if there is some good web with salad recipes (only). Made by people who are passionate about salads, and good chefs at the same time...
