I said this in the introduction thread and will say it again here.

I was roughly 195 before Katrina hit and ever since the Hurricane hit and my stress level went sky-rocketing upwards...(just dealing with money, family, moving, ext....and now everything is great...in fact, Post-Katrina NO is better than Pre-Katrina NO, imo)

Anyway, I am now 254 pounds and my fat is all over my body in places it has never been. None of my clothes fit and I wear the same thing over/over/over again to the point of destroying it.

I like running so I am going to try and run as much as I can which is 3-4 times a week.

My goal weight is 185 as I would look great at that point.

I love drinking water too but fast food and eating TOO much at meals are my downfalls :(

glad things are great for you and you're making the time to concentrate on you and your health :D really nice to have you here..

Already I fell off the boat because of Mardi Gras :(

Had friends in constantly and couldnt NOT eat some king cake :(

Anyway, now that everything is over I am trying again but its hard to keep my confidence up

Sometimes you have to allow yourself a treat! :)
Dont beat yourself up for one mistake. Your next meal will just be another opportunity to eat healthy. We have all fallen off the wagon, and you can always get back on. This forum has been a really great motivator for me, for just this reason. I post what I have eaten towards the end of the day, and just knowing I am going to do that makes me want to make sensible decisions. But the biggest motivator is knowing how great I will feel if I make the right decisions.
I can't even say enough times that this forum is really a place where everyone is accepting, understanding, and we will all support you throughout this.
You have had alot to deal with, as have most of us, and you are rising above it. You can do this, just take it one meal at a time, one day at a time, and you will see how much progress you are making :) good luck!
