Opposing Muscle Groups

Question......I'm really getting my fill of the traditional "Back and Bi's", "Chest and Tri's" workout (although I realize tradition speaks for itself). I know about doing the "Chest and Back" and "Bi's and Tri's" workout, too. Does the combo "Back and Tri's", "Chest and Bi's" do anything for you? I'll just stick with the "Legs and Shoulders" as is......

Just curious.
 
Just one theory why Chest/Bi & Back/Tri is not used as often is because the tris are used on Chest day, shoulder day and obviously tri day. This in many cases is too much work for the triceps.

I've done it for a change for a few weeks with a little success in growing my triceps but I really had to check my ego before benching and shoulder pressing due to the fact I just couldn't lift as much with my triceps getting so much work.

Try it out and let us know how you like it.
