Operation Lard Busting

AWeight as of Thursday 18th August 15st 11lbs (221lbs)

What do I want to achieve?
Healthier lifestyle
Be fitter
Healthier complexion
Glowing skin
Get slimmer
Reduce appearance of cellulite

How am I going to do this?
Follow the weight watchers pro points programme which I have been doing since Thursday. I've stayed within my points since even over the weekend with the exception of today where I went over by 4 points. No matter tho cos I've been under by 1 or 2 points most days anyway.
I'm short of cash so gym membership is out of the question but I'm thinking of paying £20 to join a running club. I've tried to run myself but I'm such a rubbish runner so need encouragement to push myself. Jst now I can barely run for a min. When I can b a good runner I can go to another running club which is for better runners but its free woohoo.
Drink 2-4 litres of water a day
And to attack cellulite well there's not much I suppose but i'll get a firming cream and a body brush etc which allegedly helps but we'll see - watch this space.

Weigh day is on thurday - excited.com. Got a compliment from someone today saying I look slimmer around my face :)

It's all going good so far.

Bye for now x

Heeeeeey ski_bunny! You didnt mention what height you are? Anyways your plan sounds great! I know what its like to have 'problems' with your body.I am destroyed in stretch marks and i mean DESTROYED. Its so annoying if i want to wear short sleevs or shorts!! ugh.

Anyway i've heard from a few people that the weight watchers programme really does work, so stick to that if it suits you!! Also that running team seems like such a good healthy way of having fun and burning alot of calories!!

Welcome to the forum, you should post in this everyday because it keeps you motivated!! and goodluck on your weigh in thursday lovely!!xoxox

AHad a great day today. I just feel so healthy and so much less bloated and just clean inside yey.
Weigh day tomorrow I'm looking forward to it really excited :)

Today I had:
Breakfast - 30g
Snack: one wee tiny square of caramel shortcake
Lunch: cup-a-soup and ckn salad sandwich made with ww bread, wafer thin ckn and salad
Snack - another tiny square of caramel shortcake
Snack: Apple
Dinner: quorn ckn breast oven roasted vegetables and cous cous.

I was soooo shocked that the meatfree ckn breast has 9 ww points - will not b buying them again.

On the plus side tho I've still got 3points left so I'm gonna have a muller light now yummy

Althogh I've had those caramel shortcake I'm not worried they really were tiny.

Also I e-mailed the running club people to see if it really is suitable for someone of my non-ability. The managing director replied and said yes and infact she'd suffered an injury herself a few yrs back and wanted to get back to running and said she'd run at the back with me so yey gonna do my first run on Tuesday woohoo watch this space people....

AWk 1 weigh in - 15stone 5lbs
Lost 6lbs

OMG I am like overwhelmingly happy today. 6lbs down woohoo.
Still feeling really good and haven't slipped up. Got a busy weekend planned ahead though but I'm not worried I'll jst make good choices :)

Breakfast - none (slept in today)
Snack - mini piece of shortbread
Lunch - tuna salad, muller light yogurt and some grapes
Dinner - meat free ckn & mushroom escalope with green beans carrots and potatoes.

So far I've eaten 23 out of 34 so i'll have some crackerbread and hummus later.

I'm feeling brilliant right now and feeling soooo positive :)

AThank u jen_renee I am mega pleased. I've been here sooo many times in the past but this time it all feels so different. I just feel happy and healthy. I'm already excited about next week I know I'm gonna stick to it so I'm confident I'll lose again and I've got running club so that'll help.
Thanks again for ur comment it puts a smile on my face and a spring in my step that there's people giving me support :)

AToday wasn't such a good day but I still feel ok. Although I indulged in a few chocolate bars I haven't stuffed myself and I don't feel that sluggish horrible way. No matter although I'm over my points today I have 49 extra per week to indulge in and I'll earn more when I go to running club on Monday.

Breakfast - 30g cornflakes
Lunch - sandwich yogurt packet of snack a jacks and a flute bar
Snacks - cadburys caramel, cadburys whole nut large ba4 and a handful of chic Brazils
Dinner - 4slices cold meat and tuna pasta

And paid £47 extra into my credit card - operation debt busting has also begun and applied for a promotion at work also - fingers crossed :)

AGood morning everyone. I woke up this morning feeling really happy and with loads of energy.
I'm happy for the following reasons
* its the weekend
* not only is it the weekend its a bank holiday weekend
* normally I do nothing most weekends but I have a packed weekend. Tonight I'm going for dinner and drinks
* tomorrow I'm going to an afternoon party :)
* and this morning I weighed myself jst to see what the damage is after my mini binge yesterday and its down half a pound from thursdsy phew

Will need to b careful with my alcohol I like all the stuff that's got millions of calories like wine cider and beer lol

Anyway I'm going for a wee sunbed now and I'm gonna go and see if I can do a bit of brad pitt spotting - he's filming a new movie just a short walk from my house :) :) :)

Breakfast - 30g cornflakes
Lunch - nothing
Snack - punnet of strawberries

Didn't see brad. Not a lot happening on the film set :(
I think it will need to b tomorro I think there's a whole day of filming tomorrow as it wraps up on Tuesday. Also its a zombie movie so I think a lot of filming may happen at night. I've got my party tomorrow so i'll maybe try to celebrity spot again on Monday

AOmg I weighed myself again this morning. Yesterday I weighed myself to find out what the damage was from sat and I was 15st 3.5lbs today I weighed myself after last night and I am 15st 9lb sooooo today I had my usual 30g cornflakes but for the rest of the day I will eat fruit and yogurt until dinner time.
Had such a great weekend so I'm not gonna freak. I have til thursday to claw back about 30points so all is good.
I am doing absolutely nothing today. Lazy jammie day yey :) gonna start my book 'the girl that kicked the hornets nest' and watch a few dvds - I haven't had a jammie day for like ever :) :) :)

Lazy jammie day, sounds like my kind of day.

Yeah I haven't had a jammie day for about 2yrs it was great :)

AI am totally bricking it about my first running club run tonight. So much so I feel really sick.

Today I've had
Breakfast - 30g cornflakes
Lunch - cup-a-soup and sandwich
Snack - yogurt and strawberries
Dinner - vegetable pasta bake it was delish

Well running club was brutal. It wasn't even running but more of a training session for people doing the great Scottish run this weekend. It was sprinting lunges burpees but I'm gonna stick with it tho. Nxt week we'll do a 5k and everyone was really nice and there was another beginner who was a little bit better than me but a newbie all the same.
I also bought a bootcamp monthly pass which I'll do in October. I'll get the hang of this running and then it'll b bootcamp.

A
Good luck tonight you AMAZING PERSON. You will do just great!! Think of all the calories your gonna burn!!
Thanks chick. It was brutal lol but I'm going back nxt week anyway. I don't think I burned much calories tonight cos it was really difficult. No matter tho cos I'll get better. I'll b a runner yet.

AI'm a little bit sore from my running today which is good.
Weigh day tomorro. I'm not holding out much hope cos of the weekend I had. If I stay the same I'll b happy.

Breakfast - banana
Lunch - sandwich and cup-a-soup Apple
Snack - Apple
Dinner - Spanish chicken with lots of vegetables

Good day :)

AWeight 15st 5.25lb
So I put on a quarter of a lb this week. Not bad I suppose considering all the alcohol I drank and all the food I ate at the weekend. Can't help feeling just a tiny bit disappointed cos its only my 2nd wk and the scales r going in the wrong direction.
Anyway no matter, I'll try harder this week and I'll make sure I lose nxt weigh day

You defo will be a runner ski_bunny:):)

So what if you gained a tiny bit lovely, you said it yourself it was because of the alcohol.

Anyway you are doing so great with your running, JUST KEEP THINKING POSITIVE.

I know you can do this:) xoxoxox

ASometimes I feel like I can't do this. Again I ate non stop this weekend last night I had Chinese food and ate til I was so full I was in pain. Then I drank 5pints of cider then today I had soup with a huge steak pie. Then I went to visit a friend and ate some biscuits. But Owa my pal has one of those power plates at home and I had a shot I could feel EVERY single bit of wobbly fat just well wobbling it felt horrible at how much fat I could feel I had.

Anyway i've decided I'm not going back to running club. I don't want u all to think I'm giving up straight away but when I really think about it, its £25 a month for one run a week so that's £6 a run to run outdoors with a bunch of people with the use of no equipment or facilities. At least when I paid a gym membership I ran at the gym but I used a state of the art machine to do it and had shower sauna water so the cost to me seems a bit much to just run outdoors. So I'm going to make an effort do run myself.

Tomorrow I will run.

Heeeey my dear weight loss friend!!

Oh stop hun, dont i know it, i was eating like a piggy for the last 2 days and a half, but today i only ate 1240 calories and stopped eating after 6pm. It is so so hard to get back into it but you got to jeep telling yourself ' NO IM GOING TO DO THIS, I WANT TO BE THIN AND HEALTHY' it works for me. But please hun dont beat yourself up about slipping up the last few days. It happens to the best of us just keep the chin up and get back into it. It will be hard, but i have every faith that you CAN do this.

I think thats a reasonable explanation for giving up the running club. That sounds like alot of money hun, like you said, you can totally run by yourself. I hope it goes well for ya tomorrowl;) You should bring an ipod and blast some choons, it will make you run faster and the time will fly faster also.

I have an exercise playlist if you want me to tell you the songs i listen to when i go walking( which is very rare:( haha)

All the best sweetheart:)xoxox
