One last time

OKay, it's been a really long time, work, going back to college and gettng sick twice in the same month had me busy.

I haven't been working out, I have to make at least a little time every day, but I'm trying to work my time between college and work, so with a lot of luck next week I'll start the gym

Diet have been changing a lot, been sick makes me not want to eat, so I've been a mess when it comes to have 4 meals everyday, I've been making 2, sometimes 3. But I haven't been eating bad food, so all I have to do is make sure that I eat 4 times everyday.

I have to go and see my doctor soon, I haven't see her in 2 months, so I really have to know, I don't know how much I weight

And how long it has been since I was here for the last time, I don't know, a lot of time. But I decided to come back, because now I'm here for making my goal weight a real thing in my life.

7 months ago I was weighting 140kg, which is a lot and terrible unhealthy. My hipotyroidism was again being a pain in the ass and on top of that I was diagnose with diabetes. I always knew that if I didn't take care I would end up with diabetes, it runs in my family and me being overweight it was like if I had all the numbers of the lotery to win this one.

At first it was really hard to adapt my life to this and also to deal with the fact that now I had two chronic illnesses and not just one.But after the first few months and lot of struggles I was able to learn all the things I needed to know to be able to take care of myself in a propper way and also I began to lose weight.

In the first month I lost 10kg and then in this last 6 months I have lost 19 more. And now because I'm only 1 kg away from reaching my first goal of 30kg lost I'm going to celebrate when I get to that mark.

When it comes to diet, I don't really do one. I just don't eat anything with sugar or flour and I eat lots of vegestables and fruits. I replaced a lot of things for those that are appropiate for diabetic people to eat, and also I'm not really (for the moment) going to the gym or taking a walk. I work as a nurse at a nursing home and I'm 8hs 6 days a week doing activities, so that's also helping me lose weight.

This time I'm not losing weight, I'm getting rid of it because I'm not planing of ever getting it back.

Welcome back and Congrats on your losses! Great job! I'm sort of new and just starting out, good luck to you, I love your outlook, not losing, getting rid of...makes perfect sense!

Yesterday when I was at work I decided to check on my weight and to my surprise, I have reached the mark of losing 30kg. I'm so happy, I still have a long way to go to reach my goal weight, but knowing that if I keep working as hard as I have been working maybe by the end of the year I would be on my goal weight or close to it. I'm so going to celebrate this mark of losing 30kg in 7 months
