Thanks. :) It is so cold out today, I'm really not wanting to do anything but curl up on the couch and watch a movie with my horse blanket. :) But I shall workout and then ride tonight. :)

I so don't want winter, but at the same time, I've been so tired of the heat! :)

Had a better day then on Monday, but there is still room for improvement.

Did a lot of physical work today. Not necessarily cardio, but I did have to walk all over the damn pasture trying to catch my pony... :D. I'd get to where she was (in the VERY back) and then she would run to the front, wait for me to almost get the rope on her neck, and then whoosh...she's gone again to the back. It was a game... and tiring. :) It took me about half an hour to catch her...(which is VERY unusual, as she is normally very easy to catch) I think she decided to play with me and knew that I needed my exercise. :D

On a side note, watched the Biggest loser last night...

REALLY don't like Tracey. At All.

Was amazed at how well Sean and Damien are doing though. :)

Hope everyone has a good rest of the week!

5 pounds?! GREAT JOB GIRL! So good to see you accepting that you had a bad day and moving on instead of giving up like so many people do! That's what I'm learning to do, which is kind of hard because sometimes I just wanna be like, oh what's the point, and eat a pint of Ben and Jerry's :p (but I don't!).

Oh and I totally argree, I hate Tracey. I understand, yeah, it's a competition, but the main point is the WEIGHT LOSS. She's just selfish and I would love to know how to lost 11 pounds without really exercising.

Keep up the great work :D

Thanks. I feel sorry for Mo... but at the same time, maybe his attitude could help her. She seems on the edge of a mental breakdown all the time...almost as if she is only running on nerves. Oh well.

God...why did you say Ben and Jerry's?! Now I really want some half baked... that stuff's the best... ugh. lol

Rode Lily again today, and MAN was she being a brat!!!! Just FYI, since I hadn't been riding in a loooooong time (months when I used to ride at least 2-4 times a week) and already had a fear of going fast, when I first started riding her again anytime she would give me trouble at the canter I would back down and let her get away with it. Well, I'm happy to say that NOT TODAY!!! :hurray: Today (while sweat profusely from the effort it took) I got her to listen to me and I cantered around the ring a full time while keeping her on the rail. (which she never does) It took a lot of time and retries, but eventually I got her to do it. Which is a HUGE accomplishment for me as I didn't feel nervous about it at all. :)

anyway, will behave myself at the fair tomorrow after my singing gig there. Having no money will really keep me under control as everything there is outrageously priced... lol

Haha, you tell that horse! Sounds like you are getting heaps of exercise, well done.

What kind of stuff do you sing?

Have a fun weekend.

I wouldn't say heaps, but more than I have been. :)

And as for singing, I do classical, folk, country, jazz, and broadway. Along with choral stuff, it's all pretty fun. :)

Have a great weekend as well. :)

I behaved myself at the fair! I had one hot dog, a water, and a strawberry shortcake. And that was it! Yay for me! :)

did a lot of walking too, so its all good. hoping for a number i like on the scale tomorrow. wish me luck!

Well done on the eating...

I play bass in a covers band, we do stuff from last century mostly and I do a bit of backing singing. It's such fun. You'll be feeling better and better on stage as you get littler!

Hope the scales are good to you tommorrow.

Ana

well, according to the scale, I only lost half a pound this week, but maybe I'm retaining water from the salty foods i had last night? lol :)

Still a little loss is better than no loss, or even a gain so I'm happy.

Also on a happy note, my jeans (which I always have had to squeeze into) were washed yesterday...and put in the dryer... As soon as I realized that I was slightly horrified. They probably would be fitting REALLY tight for a bit...

BUT THEY WEREN'T!!!!! They are actually comfortable now, and there is extra room around the legs, and a tiny bit around the waist. That, more than a weight loss is what I'm calling a victory for this week.

And one last thing... I'm Learning how to rope!!! With a lasso! :) There is a man at the rescue where I work who used to do very well in rodeo as a calf roper, and I asked if he would teach me and he is! I can now spin it around my head AND toss it at a stationary target! I caught the cone three times!! :) Maybe soon when I get my own rope, I'll start messing around with it on lily as she stands still. :) then walking and trotting and maybe even cantering! :) who knows! I really like it though.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great rest of their weekend!

Cant believe you are learning to lasso! How cool is that?! Well done for being so goof at the fair - can be really tough when all the candy floss and hot dog smells are around! We went to an asian festival on sat and i had to be really strict and just have noodles...yoo manyyummy things!

Great news about the jeans, a def boost! Keep up the great work and well done on your loss :):) Hope you see 229 next week!

well... I had a rather stressful week last this week...

and I blew it... ugh. I hate that when I'm stressed, I eat. When I'm sad, I eat, when I'm happy I eat, and when I'm bored, I eat...

It's rather frustrating, But I did do half an hour on the bike yesterday, and basically behaved myself today. Going to be AWESOME tomorrow. :)

And I have a weight loss buddy. She's a friend of mine who has horses, and we both agree that we can be better riders if we get healthier, so we are setting goals, and are going to try to keep each other on track. :)

Haven't touched the scale in over a week... so am afraid of getting on it tomorrow. BUT it has to be done to see the damage. I promise that this upcoming week will make up for the last one. Scouts honor. :)

I feel youuuuuuuuuu...
Everything results into eating! :willy_nilly:

I think that is our number one target to attack :)
I hope you are working and progressing to counterattack it!!
