Once a Week

If i were to do a push/pull/legs split, would working them out only once a week be a good idea? Like if i hit each muscle group really hard on it's corresponding day once a week, will it be enough for me to see some good gains? I really want to bulk up but i wasn't sure if doing push/pull/legs once a week was enough.
 
well usually its done on a 4day cycle, push/pull/legs/off/push/pull/legs/off... to ensure they get worked enough. once a week would still show improvements, but once every 4 days would probably show more.. (this is assuming your healed by the 4th day)
 
i think it would depend on your intensity and volume. if you are going heavy or super high volume, id recommend longer rest periods.
