Pretty good. :) How was yours?
My 4th was satisfyingly boring and relaxing.
sat around for most of the day. Actually napped on my deck- got a little burned- but all in all a very good day.
of course i come back to work and find stacks of crap on my desk to sort through so.....

I have been just insanely busy - appellate briefs and certifications all so I can get yelled at by a judge...what are you gonna do, right?

Workin hard, trying to run a little, trying to get my ass in gear...

What's new with you? Doing anything interesting these days?
 
OK.

I have not had a stellar couple weeks here. My eating has gotten slightly out of control. I am fine during the day but snack way to much at night. I also have not been able to work out properly for 2 weeks due to work travel. The travel is inevitable so I need to work around that. The eating I just need to control. I need to realize that I need to snack and to do so on Jello or popcorn to ease the caloric intake. I am eating enough overall to satisfy myself but still get hungry around 9pm or so. If i can get past that hump I am fine. So popcorn and/or jello for me.

Exercise has been fine overall. More Cardio than anything due to travel though. Yesterday was my first wt session in quite a while and I felt week in the chest. All other disiplines were good but the db bench was weak. I am running today- prob 6.5 miles- so that will be good.

Overall I feel fat right nowmaybe it is the lack of WT but I feel very soft and not at all how I was. I am sure it is just perception and not reality. I will be fine overall I just need to have a good week this week. Yesterday was a good start.

Bah - we all post drivel here...

So you have identified the problem and have come up with a solution - jello and popcorn are really good ideas! I should have thought of that for myself - no calories (well almost) and you feel like you are eating a lot of something which is an issue for me...

You know you aren't fat, but I understand where you are coming from - there are some days where I feel like I am really slim and other days where I feel like the Blob.

Get back on the WT and things will improve, you know that. Sometimes life interferes but as long as you get back on track it is a win, IMO...

Good lord no. Nothing interesting. Still recovering from San Antonio last week. Sleeping to much, eating to much. No WT until this week. Really need to get my ass back in gear right now.

I am thinking of lighting a match to be honest - much cleaner than quitting :)

Running for 30 mins at a time - 2.6 miles (snails pace, IMO) but I am trying. Can't breathe but I'm working at it...

OK.

I have fallen a bit out of touch due to work responsibilities increasing and just really entering my busy season. I am doing well this week controlling my eating and especially my binge eating and am at my pre holiday weight as of this morning- so at least I have that going for me.
It just hit me on the drive in to work this morning that it has been exactly 6 months since my last cigarette. I really never thought I would get this far. I honestly wanted to quit but just liked it too much to stay quit I thought. I miss it but I know the good I am doing is far outweighing the bad. I am just real proud that I was able to do this and have it be permanent.
On a related not I ran 6.5 miles in just under 55 minutes yesterday. This puts me on pace for 7.something miles in an hours which obviously puts me at 7mph. My last mile was 8:29 so I did not have an appreciable drop off from start to finish. I am stretching after every run and have not had too much of an issue with my legs. I am increasing my mileage slowly but steadily and am doing good IMO.
I need to travel to Philly tomorrow for a day trip for work. I am leaving at 6am and not coming back until 11pm. I am on the first flight out and the last in . This is going to be a long ass day. I do not mind traveling for the job but this is a bit excessive. On a plus note though, I have never been to Philly so it will be interesting.

I rarely think- too damn cumbersome in the overall for my day.:D

I am there all frickin day and may have some free time.:)
