Once a Fat Man......but NEVER again.

Brian, I am so glad to hear that everything is ok. Don't sweat the workout, it happens from time to time, probably a residual from the stress you were under yesterday...I hope you are able to go to the ultrasound today :)

I am hoping I can go Ali. Actually just spoke to my boss and it is ok with her if I leave early.
I swear if I had a male boss I would be stuck here.

I do think Mal may be right about the workout though. If the intensity is still not there today and tomorrow I will take a couple days off.

So we had the ultrasound this afternoon. All seems to still be good.
HR was 164
Size was 11 weeks 3 days
Willie was quite active :D

All seemed to be good but we will know more when the doctor calls back within 3 days. I just get so nervous but all really seems to be good.
Too damn old for this stress sometimes- but it will all be worth it so I can get more stress. :D

Ran 5 miles today in just under 41 minutes. Ran a 5k in 25 minutes. All very good in my eyes. I stretched after and everything seems to be ok. Just wish i had begun stretching a long time ago- would not have been injured as often as I was..
:D

I've heard that stretching before you run increases your chance of getting an injury. You should stretch after the run. Do you do this?

After, yes.
What I have read is to never stretch a cold muscle. I just do a slower warm up 1/2 mile then let loose.
Stretch after. Feels so good to. :)

I always get so much more of a stretch after, too. It's like suddenly I'm limber or something. I'll take it.

Morning, Brian! :) How did it go yesterday?
Mornin' Angela. :D

All went well yesterday. Still haven't heard from the doctor but i will add that up as a good thing.
HR 165 or so
size 11w 3 days
Willie was quite active shadow boxing and kicking

so for my money all is fine. :D

That's really good to hear. My guess is if they thought there was a problem they would have indicated it yesterday. Not to get too graphical here, but sometimes when a woman's cervix is tilted, or the baby is laying too low in the womb, that can cause some bleeding. Scary but generally harmless. I know your OB has to take all precautions due to the history, but I'm sure all will be okay. :)

Forgot to mention this weekend. Erin and I were released from the fertility doctor on Friday. We have now 'graduated' infertility and are now going to go to her reg OBGYN for the rest of the pregnancy. She is Level 2 risk but that is just because of the 4 years it took. Huge step. Some tears were shed in the office and it was a really nice moment. As the doctor was leading us out of the office he called out to all the nurses 'Look who graduated!' They all stood up and cheered. Hell man - tearing up a bit now typing it...
Anyway- thought you all would like to know.
Thanks for reading my drivel. :D
Congrats!! You're only 12 weeks into the pregnancy???? I thought you were much further along than that for some reason.

12 weeks. 6 more months.
Thank you Judy. It seems like it is longer because we have been trying for so long and found out probably a lot earlier than a lot of other couples

Her cervex was closed Wednesday, i know that. I think that is good. They think it was just leftover from the forming of the placenta. Damned if I know. All I know is that it looks like everything is ok and there has been no more bleeding since.
:D
