On The Road To Regain Control

Alright so I'm feelin better this morning. I had a couple pieces of wheat toast for breakfast and a little bit of apple sauce. I'm really quite surprised at how well I've been doing this week.

Last night I did Cardio X and it liked to kill me because I was a little sick to my stomach -BUT- I did it anyway. So there. :p Lol.

I'm thinkin about waiting to weigh until Wenseday instead of Saturday this week because that's when Tylers gonna be weighin, and I wanna let him know as much as possible, that we're in this fight together.

So anyways, I'll update later.

Have a gorgeous day.

I had Tyler over for dinner last night. We had some whole grain paste with soy ground beef and tomato sauce (healthy spaghetti). We spilt a baked potato with butter sub, and we each had 1 fillet of fish.

It was really good.

Great maturity in your food choices !! I don't always understand how our youth can deflect all the shitfoods out there, but it does my heart good to know you two are eating better and smarter. It's not easy at any age but if you're not brought up in a kitchen it's harder for younger people to know not to stop at the fast food joints and stuff.

I think his want to lose weight is really kicking my butt into gear and keepin me inspired to keep goin with my whole diet thing as well.

What a great system of checks and balances. This is a win/win situation for you as well to undertake the support for Tyler. I would kill to have a daily partner, what a difference that would make !!

Shine on, Jenn :)

My most recent "dive off the wagon" involved the intake of more fast food than I ever knew exsisted... and also resulted in the gain of seven pounds after working so hard to reach my goal.

I amaze myself sometimes.

I tend to struggle quite a bit when it comes to the temptation of "shitfood", but you're really right about havin a partner. I've been more motivated this week than I have been in awhile. Remembering that I'm tryin to set an example for Tyler each time I go to grab a cookie, or a pizza, is encouragement within itself.

I can relate to this! Also to the rolled eyes!

Yes. This is absolutely real. Sticking with this will make a genuine difference for both of you. Great work. :)

Me and Tyler weighed in on Sunday.

I was back down to about 133, so I lost about 4 pounds last week!!
I was pretty excited.

Then Tyler stepped on the scale and blew me completely out of the water...

He lost 20 freakin pounds last week. I was completely blown away, but totally proud of him. He's down to 306 now.

Yayaya us!

It's on like donkey kong this week. Lol

Doing okay today.
TOM is here so I'm feelin kinda crappy.

We shall see what the day brings though.

Hopefully all will be well in the land of diets and what not.

Oh Wow!!! Congrats to you and Tyler on the weight loss! That's great!!

I'm sorry today hasn't started so well - I hope it finishes better. :)

Good day so far.

Breakfast:
2 pieces of wheat toast with a butter sub

Snack:
1 strawberry nutragrain bar

Lunch:
1 small turkey sandwhich with lettuce and cheese from penn station

Okay, so yeah... we won't discuss the holidays beyond the fact that Tyler lost 8 more pounds, and I gained 3 back...

Lol. What in the hell?

Breakfast:
1/2 cup of apple sauce
1 plain flour tortilla
And a wee bit of sugar free hot chocolate....

Yum. What a strange waste of 230 calories.

Alright so I had a really good day. I stayed right on track with my eating and I finally decided to take advantage of the Free fitness and wellness center on campus. OMG!! It's GIGANTANORMOUS! They have a rock climbing wall and a virtual golf simulator..

And all the treadmills and stuff have flat screen tv's on them. Wow.

I watched Paula's Home Cooking while I ran 2 miles. Lol.

Hope everyone's doing well.

I hope Paula's Home Cooking recommends controlled portion sizes and healthy foods!

I am gigantanormously jealous of your free fitness centre!!!!!!! Wow! That sounds fantastic. I hope you have lots of fun there - sounds like a nice way to stay around your healthy weight.

Congrats to Tyler! :)

I'm so lazy... I really don't wanna go work out, but I know that I really, really, REALLY need to.
Lol.
Geez, I can't wait til classes are over.

I ran 3.1 miles yesterday at the gym.

I'm Pretty proud.

That's the equivalent of a 5k.

Never ran that far before.

Even when I ran the 5k... Lol. (I walked like half of it)

I really hope I lost at least a pound or two this week.

I ain't shootin for no miracles though.

Thanks.

I've been doing ok.

I love those long runs! I reckon you are brave to do them at the gym too. Even walking on a treadmill always makes a bit nervous. I probably watched something silly on a cartoon when I was little!

I bet Tyler, and your parents, are very proud of the changes you've made for yourself.

Hello!

I'm back.

Needless to say why, but I will anyways.

After reaching my goal of 130 lbs i left the forum feeling confident in my ability to mantain.

Over the course of several months I preceeded to gain back a good 14ish lbs.

The only thing I have to say about it is:

GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

I've lost my will power.
I've lost my discipline.

BUT

I have not lost hope.

This place offered me such support and motivation before.

And I know it will again.

I truly believe returning to the forum is my first step in the right direction.

So yeah

I'm back.

:)
