I totally know what you mean. When I go over to my best friend's boyfriends house(confusing I know, but she stays there on the weekends) Tony (the b/f) ALWAYS has crap. Muchies, chips, pizza, ice cream... just a lot of crap. I always eat badly there... Finally though, Maria is making him get healthier food so she doesn't have to eat that stuff all the time. lol.

You'll be fine. just say no, and have a glass of water or something. :)
 
Hey Jen! Welcome to the site. I just joined recently as well. I was reading through your diary and you sound a lot like me! I too want to feel beautiful, yet somehow I keep screwing up on diets and exercise. I also noticed that we are both going for the same goal. I'm around 165 (it keeps changing this this week) and I want to get to 130. If you ever need any extra support or a buddy to talk to PM anytime. We could exchange screen names or something. Keep up the great work!
 
I've got broad shoulders and thick arms.... Yucky.

For dinner: I'll probably have some veggies (green beans) and and some meat... whatever it may be.

I have the same problem. It's really hard for me to find shirts that fit my shoulders. And it doesn't help that my torso is REALLY long too. I'm cursed with a long torso and short legs! :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one with that problem. Are you doing any kind of weight training? Way back when...when I was skinny and lifted weights my broad shoulders actually looked really good as well as my arms because they were very well toned. Maybe try some upper body work outs...you'll tone up those arms as well as adding some muscle which eats fat...YEAH!

Right. See the part I hate is the sleeves on shirts. If there too short or something it seems like it emphasizes the roundness of my arms. It makes me look really wide up top and stuff. Good Grief.

I'm gonna have to start doing something. I'll probably start giving the upper body workouts a try.
 
Okay so I've done crappy today.

For breakfast I had corn flakes

For lunch I had corn flakes

And for dinner I had crappy crap crap.

Yum.

I'm not in a very good mood.

I think I'm getting ready to start my period.

That's fun.

Okay...

I'm better now. I was at Tylers last night when I posted, and I was just about to go off the deep end.

It's so hard to eat healthy away from home for some reason, but I should of done it anyways, and I didn't, therefore I got depressed. Lovely.


Today, all I've had to eat is a peanut butter sandwhich.


I guess I should probably have "lunch" now.

Maybe Tuna.

I know what you mean about eating right away from home. I mangaged to only order a chicken burrito at my friend's house. She's ALWAYS going out to eat, and I kinda get sucked into it. Luckily I managed to catch myself before ordering the combo, but it was hard! Keep up the good work!
 
Omg! I put on this shirt this morning, and for the first time there was no belly button imprint!!!! I was like yes!! This means the shirt is looser, meaning I've lost more weight this week!! How excited am I?

YAY! I know how that feels. I put on my fav shirt that says, "Living in Washington is Just Ducky" and i did'nt feel like I was stretching it out! Way to go!
 
Weigh In

So today... I weighed in. I was scared to death to step on the scale. My goal for this Sunday was 160, and I thought there was no way.

So I went into the bathroom... and I stepped on. 161! :D :D :D :D :D Yayayayayayayayayayaya!! Almost, not quite, but still the greatest.
 
I just cannot even believe I weigh 161 pounds. I haven't weighed that much since I was in middle school... not even then hardly. I've Pretty much from sixth grade up gone back and forth between 170 and 180. I mean, my Gosh. I was thinking about it. If it feels this good to be at the weight I am now, I can't imagine how good it's gonna feel when I reach 130. I'm so excited.
 
Todays Workout

Okay, so I just did my pilates, only this time I also did the mat challange with the resistance band. Yayaya! I can't believe I'm actually going to lose this weight. I'm like freakin out about it. I've always been overweight, and I've always dreamed of being thin, but it's never seemed attainable like it does now. Thank you guys so much, for being there for me. I mean your alls support has made a world of difference and I know will continue to.
 
Wow! Four pounds! That's great! Great job sister! lol. I think you should go out and buy a really snazzy dress for when you reach your goal. I think that's what I'm going to do! YAYA!!! for you!!!!
