On The Road To Regain Control

Here I am.

Okay,

I had the usual for breakfast.

Last night I screwed up again though. I had hotdogs. :mad:

I will not mess up today. I will absolutely not tolerate it. I will kick my own ass if I do. Forgive me for cussing, Jesus. I am going to lose this thirty five pounds even if I die in the process.

I'm actually doing pretty good today.

Breakfast: Wheat toast (butter sub)
Snack: rice cakes
Lunch: Apple

I haven't been very hungry today, as surprising as that may be.

Gosh this is tough... But u kno... I was thinking bout it, I guess if things like this were supposed to be easy.... they wouldn't be so friggan hard.:rolleyes:

You know I was thinking about something...

My starting weight on my ticker, isn't correct.

I put my starting weight as the weight I was at the time when I started visiting this site.

Which was ten pounds less, then what I was in chicago.....

So really I've lost more weight then I'm giving myself credit for...

I must figure out this ticker fiasco.

I've really lost about fifteen pounds this summer.

Not five.

I've confused myself.

Okay I've figured it out.

At the beginning of the summer when I started tryin to lose weight I weighed atleast 180 pounds. My goal weight is 130. So that means I really wanna lose 50 pounds. I've lost in total fifteen pounds this summer. I still have thirty five to go, but my goodness this realization makes me gasp and do a happy jig all at the same time.

I've got one to get rid of too. I've got one that I must be honest is quite a bit bigger than yours. You look pretty good in your picture though. 15lbs this summer so far it fantastic. You still have all of August yet to go and only pounds to lose! Keep up the good work!
 
Good work mage! I know what you mean too about hot dogs. That's why when we had our barbeque, I asked my mom to get the fat free ones. 40 cals a dog. Not too bad in my opnion. But I still try to stay away from them. Keep up the good work chicka

Actually, them turkey dogs ain't that bad. My uncle has heart problems and has them. They were pretty tasty! lol
 
Turkey dogs are pretty good actually. I have a weakness for hot dogs and they have to be the crappiest meat to eat. Awwwwww I guess I could go the fat free route too. But the best way is to just avoid the dog completely!
 
Breakfast: I had the usual.

I'm sitting here in my gym clothes trying to decide whether or not I'm going to venture outside my home for my workout today, or if I'm just going to stick a video in for pilates or something. Hmmmm. I haven't been exercising like I need to be, and no matter what I do, I have to do something.

Last night I had to bury two cats, and the digging I swear to you, could have constituted for a workout, my arms are sore this morning. But besides that, I want to at least lose ten more pounds before school starts back, on august 16. We'll see how that goes. I think I can do it, but I've got to get back into the swing of things.

August 16th? wow.. you get in early. We don't go back until like, the 10 of September I think. But, I'll buddy with you if you want, and we can lose another 10lbs together. You before school starts, and me before volleyball starts on the 21st of August. Interested?

So for lunch I opted for some chickie-noodle soup, with some crackers. And instead of going out for my walk, I did some pilates in the living room.

I haven't done that in I don't know how long, and my muscle sure did remind me of that fact of the matter.

I got a twenty-four pack of water, and sucked in down in three days.... Now I need some more. I love water. It's the only thing that truely does quinch your thirst.
 
All for the buddy system

So as of today I have exactly three weeks to lose ten pounds before school starts back. So that means in a very structured terms I'd have to lose about 3.3 pounds each week, to reach a pretty exact goal of ten pounds.

I think me and xories gonna do the buddy thing, and handle our business that way. I think that working with her supporting me and vice versa will really motivate the both of us. Fun, Fun, Fun. :D

Yay! This is cool! (sorry, I had to add the cool part, cause the forum wouldn't let me post just "yay" because it said that my message had to be at least 10 characters long! :rolleyes: )

But this is good. I do a lot better when I have someone to go up against. I would suggest doing the next team challenge. It really helped me.
 
I'm going over to a friends place tonight to have on of those "girlie slumber party thingies" we oh so often used to have. Lol. I've known this chick since first grade. When I get over to her house for some reason though, I feel like I'm starving to death, and I'm totally afraid I'm gonna blow it tonight. She always has hotdogs, lol, and I'm like OMG GIVE ME SOME! I can do it though. I gotta be strong.
