On The Road To Regain Control

I really want a treadmill for my dog and me. A tired puppy is a good puppy! I agree with Trucker, turkey chili is really good and I think Hormel even makes it almost fat free. I plan on starting to workout this week… I should have asked for exercise equipment for Christmas!!! Hind sight…(sigh)

It must be because of where we are from but I have a lot of the same fav “bad” foods. White gravy is the ultimate!! A co-worker still teases me cuz I told her that I would eat anything that had white gravy on it and God help my dog if there was ever a gravy mishap and she was splashed…. run puppy run!!! How they discovered that grease, flour and milk made something so yummy I will never know! Not that I will never eat it again, but I am determined to not get carried away!!

You did good at Cici’s holding it to a couple of slices!! It is all about control…
 
Master turkey chili and you can eat gallons of it guilt-free. I doubt I could go back to hamburger in my chili again however cubed-up sirloin cook-off style chili could make my knees buckle ;)

You must be close to Gold Star chili availability eh ?? We can't get it up here and it's soooooo pricey to order it online :( I'd probably pass on it nowadays but when I trucked, I use to bring it home by the case on my Cincinnati/Kentucky hauls :) Their chili mac was sinful.

OMG Biscuits and GRAVY are my absolute favorite. I'm pretty sure I've told my parents close to about the same when it comes to gravy. I think I'd eat it on anything.

I'm gonna look up a turkey chili recipe and try it out I think.

How's the calorie count in the stuff T2?
 
homemade should be in the low 200's a bowl with most of it being from the beans which gets it a lil carby but it's a fair trade for the fiber content.

I buy the whole frozen honeysuckle breast-only and cook it then dice it for the chili. It's about 1000% better than using ground turkey meat cuz you can really shink your teeth into ;) I use the leftover turkey for snacking on later.
 
For Dinner I had a can of greenbeans (60 calories+butter-so 120 calories)

Grand total for the day... prolly a bit over 820, which isn't bad.
 
Breakfast: two pieces of wheat toast (150 calories)

My Mom, Aunt, and Mama are all sitting in the living room enjoying chocolate cake for breakfast....

I hope they eat every single piece of it.
 
Cake?!? That ain't right!!! Toast is much better for you anyway. It brings you <<this much>> closer to your goal!!!
 
880 cals?!!! Am I reading right? You are way under on those! How do you doit? 1200 is hard for me not to go over! Sounds like you are doing well!!:)
 
Aww I’m doing pretty good. A couple of pieces of candy is better than a couple of handfuls!! I will be happy when the holidays are over so some of the office candy can disappear!!
 
This morning I had the strangest pb&j craving, which actually, come to think of it, isn't really that strange at all for me. (320 calories)
 
Hey Altered! Thanks for stopping by my diary! I know the feeling after going to a restaurant... not wanting to eat for the next week! That's when I know that it's time to say byebye to said eatery! Sounds like time to give the fridge a clean out :D

My family hated me for it at first but since my hubby lost 10kg in 6 months without doing anything hes been loving it even more!
