On-line Trainer

I have been going to the gym for the past year, 5 days a week and not only have I lost about 80 pounds, I am in the best health of my life. I have become totally addicted.

I cannot afford to hire an in-gym personal trainer and I don't necessarily need motivation of one, I just need to get my routines nailed down in order to get things kicked up to the next level. As such, a buddy of mine suggested I look at an on-line trainer. Someone that can help me create some routines based on the machines in my club house. I am wondering if anyone has anyone that they would suggest or warn me to stay away from.
Thanks in advance.

Instead of the money on that, why don't you google "Westside for Skinny Bastards III". That program is free.

Or you can look up "Wendler's 5/3/1". It's only like $20 or $30 and both will focus to give you nice results.

If you don't have your routine nailed down after that much face-to-face exposure with a real trainer, then an online trainer won't be much help.

Just buy a small PT pack from your gy and explain what you want in your workout. They will make up a routine for you and get you started on it. Good luck :)

Hahahah.. that's quite a funny site you give me there evolution x. It's quite comprehensive too.

As for PT, I think it's just help to have someone to encourage you to do more while you're doing all of those training. It's quite expensive using PT if you're not serious with fitness IMHO.

But of course the reverse effect for having online PT will be SELF-discipline to run all the training exercised that have been scheduled for you.

I think an online trainer is fine for anyone with the discipline to stick to the program. While you might have someone to bark at you in person with a physical trainer, you have to do all the barking to yourself when you have an online trainer. That's the only slight disadvantage I see with it.
