OMG. I love getting out of a steamy hot shower and then cuddling in the nice comfy bed underneath the blankets and just having a nice long sleep. Its heaven.

I haven't felt the need to push lately either. But today is going to change. Hoppe you have a wonderful Monday!

BRANDY! UGH I KNOW! I don't feel like working out today either! I mean, I will go work out but I'm not feeling this AT ALL. Hope your workouts this week turns out well!

The weekend was GREAT. BUT OMG - It totally kicked my ass! I gained weight because of it. I now weigh more than I did this time last week. WOW! I'm praying it's just all the water I'm drinking and my weight will drop back down tomorrow or something. UGH!

I spoke with my adviser today. Haha. My adviser is a Bio Professor and does research so he wasn't exactly encouraging when I pushed to change majors. He said it was do-able but I'd be two semesters or so behind. I'M DOING IT. Two semesters is better than hating the rest of my life! Thanks for your support Ivette!

AND UH YEAH so when we get skinny, can we go drink a river worth of alcohol? This limiting myself on alcohol intake is bizarre. :banghead: Like, we should lose 2 pounds more than what we ACTUALLY want to lose - so we can go drink everything and gain it back! PLAN. SUCCESS. VERYYY NICEE. (Borat voice)

AND YES COW TIPPING! Hard! It took a bunch of us to push the thing over. I think it actually does kill or at least hurt the animal. It was fun but I was younger. I feel a little bad now - not sure if I could do it anymore. Are you going to try it? OMG ALSO -- A few months ago, I was hiking with some friends and a cow ran after me. Apparently, cows talk to each other and the tipped cow told its friend to look out for the crazy Asian girl. ;)
 
I'm not feeling like working out today. AGHH! What happened to me? I think because I saw my weight go up instead of down this week, I just DON'T want to go anymore! I know that it's my own fault for drinking and eating badly this weekend but it's just SOOO DISCOURAGING! I just need to get my ass to the gym N-O-W and work off this weekend's toxins. PRONTO.

I just want to be at a solid 160 by the end of this month. It better freaking happen or ELSE this body will PAY. Haha, right, right. I'm threatening my body.
 
First off, it's probably water weight. Your body will sometimes do that to you. Dont worry about it.

Second, you need to remember this is a liefstyle. You are building habits that will be long term and you can use for the rest of your life. Do you think you are going to lose every week for the rest of your life? No, get used to some weeks where things happen and you gain a lb or two. It will come off, dont sweet it.

I will sometimes follow the 90/10 rule. Follow a healthy lifestyle 90% of the time and the other 10% you can enjoy yourself, within reason of course. A normal night out with friends is within reason.

Dont be discouraged, you have come to far. Now get back to the 90% and get your ass to the gym.

THANKS MATT! Someone needed to get my ass in line. :)

So I sucked it up and went to the gym. I surprisingly had a lot of energy so I got in an hour of cardio! WAHOO.

My cousin is 5'8" and was a little over 200 lbs. Her parents sent her to a fitness camp down in La Jolla, CA for 2 months this summer and she came back S-K-I-N-N-Y! She lost about 35 pounds and she's lost even more on her own. So anyway, I was talking to her this weekend and she told me that at camp, they ate dinner around 5:30pm and wouldn't eat after that. I know a lot of people on here say that as long as you stay within your calorie range, it shouldn't really matter WHEN you eat, but maybe it does matter? I'm going to try and revamp what I've been eating and then try to fit all my food in by 6:00. If I feel the urge to eat after that, I'm going to just drink water. Lots of water.

So by "revamp what I've been eating" I mean I'm going to start pureeing my food. HAha. I actually have a soft spot for baby food. I think anything pureed is just so yum. DONT JUDGE ME. :D So I think I'm going to eat normal breakfast of cereal/fruit and then for lunch I'll make a smoothie. For my snacks, I'll just carry carrots/nuts/fruits in my bag with me at all times. AND THENNN for dinner, I'm going to start pureeing carrots and beans and stuff. I know it sounds really gross but I love everything pureed out! It'll be like eating split pea soup but with other foods! We'll see how this goes. :)

Hey Lux!!! It's just the normal cycle!!! But, even if the workout feels forced or halfass... DO IT anyways!! Trops has a theory about how doing a forced workout can be more important than the easy good ones. Recently, I have come tobeleive him!! LOL!! I was just saying something similar in my journal! Anyways, KEEP KICKIN' BUTT!!! You got this!!! :) :)
 
I feel ya! I know how gaining weight makes you feel discouraged. Last week I thought about just giving up, but I didn't and ended up losing around 4 pounds! So push through those half-assed workouts and enjoyed your pureed foods! hahaha

I went to the gym for almost an hour and a half today. School is going to pick up soon and I know I probably won't be able to hit up the gym every day anymore. I'm trying to force myself to work out harder during the times I am at the gym!

Since I had a party hard weekend, I'm going to try really hard this week to kick my own butt! Food today was really great and I'm really starting to try to not eat so late. :D

LAST THING: I forgot to mention this yesterday - I wore SPANDEX to the gym. HAha. When I gained all this weight over the last two years, I wasn't able to fit into my volleyball shorts anymore. I was feeling a little down yesterday so I tried on the shorts and they fit! I figured wearing them to work out would motivate me. Well, it did. BUT it also made my really uncomfortable. Haha. I forgot that those shorts like to ride up to your crotch when you're moving around in them. MM GOSH, brings me back to my glorious volleyball days. Haha. OK so they're still kinda tight on but I can't wait to fit perfectly into those shorts again and look H-O-T with them riding up my butt.
 
I like feeling good in tight fitting clothes. I'm glad you are getting fitter. Just know that it is because of YOU, and that YOU made this possible for yourself because of your determination, hard work, sweat, blood, and tears. I'm sure you could apply such logic to your life post-college.
 
hehe yeah i want to be a maneater >=D when i get confident enough... oh wait D: i already have a boyfriend... xD aww well... woooh! sorry just kiddin' im not that evil... i will save maneating for those skanky skanks. =P
